  • @spaynetahoe There’s nothing wrong with eating pizza! I’d never successfully diet if I couldn’t have pizza occasionally, lol. I’m proud of you for listening to your body and feeding it something satisfying! I know it’s hard to fight the guilt, but I promise you haven’t sabotaged yourself. ❤️
  • @jkrug15 Slow and steady has the best chance of being sustainable. You’re doing great. ❤️
  • Oops, my math was a little off. Oh well. 😅
  • It’s the end of the month! Time for an update of my monthly stats. Feel free to share yours if you’re tracking! SEPTEMBER STATS 💪 Monthly goals: stay under 1870 calories per day, walk 2500 steps a day, keep phone in pocket more consistently for better step tracking Starting weight: 248.4 💪 End-of-month weight: 241.8…
  • Thank you so much, everyone!! I know a couple of people asked—I’m in the U.S., and I’m in my early 30s. 😊 I will definitely be thrifting some cute stuff soon for my “in-between” stage!
  • It took me about a month and a half for the first stone and about two months for the second. I’m not really exercising other than focusing on a moderate amount of steps throughout the day. I know that weight loss through exercise isn’t sustainable for me personally, so I’m focusing mostly on the calorie deficit instead.
  • Adding an updated progress chart! Every time I think I’ve stopped losing, my weight starts going down. Keep it up, and don’t lose hope!
  • Welcome to all the new folks! Feel free to add me as a friend if you need someone to cheer you on!
  • @sokaina Hmm. That’s only about 200-900 net calories a day for your body to function on, which isn’t nearly enough. And you’re still not losing? I’d definitely talk to a dietitian to get a healthy weight loss plan developed and a doctor to make sure you don’t have any underlying health issues. Good luck! ❤️
  • Another month down! AUGUST STATS 💪 Monthly goals: stay under 1900 calories per day, walk 2500 steps a day after surgery recovery Starting weight: 256.0 💪 End-of-month weight: 248.4 Starting BMI: 38.9 - Class 2 Obesity 💪 End-of-month BMI: 37.8 - Class 2 Obesity Starting bust measurement: 49.5 in. 💪 End-of-month bust…
  • @sokaina Maybe MFP is overestimating the calories you’re burning with exercise? Do you eat back your exercise calories?
  • I’m 20 lbs. down as of today!!!
  • Time to share my end-of-month stats! I’m super swollen because I just had surgery unexpectedly (thanks, stupid appendix 😬), but my weight is looking good, even if some of my measurements don’t reflect it right now. Keep it up, everyone! JULY STATS 💪 Monthly goals: stay under 1940 calories per day, walk 2000 steps a day…
  • Hello again, everyone! I just caught up on reading everyone’s updates. I had to adjust the stats I’m tracking and add 4 lbs. to everything because my scale was apparently off due to a battery issue, lol. But my weight is still heading down! And I’ve still managed to stay under my calorie limit for the last 45 days, which…
  • I’m slowly increasing my steps and starting to include some mild weight training. My weight is sort of plateauing a bit, but I think muscle gain might be a factor. How’s everyone else?
  • I am loving this group, you guys! How’s everyone doing? Any weekend fitness plans? I was wanting to go swimming with my kids this weekend, but it’s been raining cats and dogs all week. 😩
  • JUNE STATS 💪 Monthly goals: stay under 1970 calories per day, increase protein and fiber intake Starting weight: 268.6 lbs. • I’m excited to take my measurements tomorrow with it being the end of June! I started dieting on June 8th, but I plan on sharing my start-of-month weight and measurements and my end-of-month ones for comparison. Feel free to join in! I might make it a monthly thing to monitor my progress.
  • Congrats!! When I got my diagnosis, my doctor told me that PCOS makes losing 1 pound as hard as it is for most people to lose 10 pounds. Losing weight with PCOS is a huge accomplishment!
  • How long have you been tracking calories? Have you managed to lose weight at all?
  • How’s everyone doing? My weight loss has steadied out a bit, but I still lost about a pound in the last week. Also, I’ve lost 2 inches off my hips and 3 inches off my waist since I started tracking earlier this month!
  • I’m a big data geek, so here are my updated stats and goals! Age: 31 Height: 5 ft. 8 in. Starting date: June 8, 2021 Starting weight: 268.6 lbs. Current weight: 262.4 (6.2 lbs. down) Goal weight: 160 Starting BMI: 40.8 - Class 3 Obesity Current BMI: 39.9 - Class 2 Obesity Goal BMI: < 25 Current daily calorie limit: 1940…
  • I love seeing everyone’s updates! Also, anyone can feel free to add me if you’d like! Is anyone else trying to increase their steps throughout the day? Apparently I’m more sedentary than I realized, and I really want to find ways to work in more walking here and there. @heatherbluebell I can relate! I’ve struggled with…
  • Welcome, everyone! How are you all doing? I’m officially 5 pounds down! I’ve continued to stay under my calorie limit every day, although I’m still not always hitting my fiber and protein goals. But hey, it’s about improvement, not perfection. I think I’ll start trying to get more steps in gradually starting tomorrow.
  • That’s great progress, wow!
  • Making progress! You’ve got this!
