@LenGray i struggle with the water side of tracking too. Like you I set achievement goals that keep me heading in the right direction.......sometimes a slight detour but always back to the bigger picture. Keep going !

@chris_in_cal - points to what needs to be done. For me its don't compete food diary and carry on eating. Also just because I earned the cals doesn't mean I have to eat them π

This week I'm just going to try and not gain weight. I'm on holiday from work which means going out for days....these could involve lunch or beer or both π€. Then we have a family wedding at the end of the week. Activity wise...the usual -walking and gardening. Will prob weigh in on Thursday as its going to be hectic andβ¦

Hi not sure if this helps you @ikalujny but I was told in previous weight loss groups that if you increase your exercise quickly, the body hangs on to h20 and protein to protect and repair itself. It will all even out in a couple of weeks. Stick with it, those scales will stop fluctuating and show a drop soon.

I am also late posting - sorry. Tbh forgot all about it as I basically stayed the same ( +4oz) won't worry about that after the shift from hell where I walked nearly 10 miles and did over 4 hrs cardio. Completed my diary and still have over 700 cals left. Absolutely pooped, back in the morning to do it again.

Hi there. I'm a newbie ( big thanks to Chris for walking me through this). I started on 8th July 23. I'm in UK. SW 234, LW 230, TW 228 . My GW is 196 and I will see where I go from there. My weigh day is Friday

I have also had the nights when the weight loss happens after 3 or 4 massive weeks. Its so true lol
