I watched some form videos today. I think I'll drop back 5 lbs and watch my form. Thanks for the info

Way to go!! You can do this :)

For @DaniMillar25 how close to goal weight did you get before lifting? ??
-
Sound like great result! Are these eating and exercise habits going to be sustainable?

Hi back! How ya doing? :)

Unlike OP I have 40 lbs to loose still! I am going to start now (reducing my deficit to TDEE-400) and lift until I stall then increase my deficit again in hopes that increased muscle will burn more calories. I'd rather have slower weight loss if that means my body will look better in the long run. Plus, heavy lifting helps…

Thanks for taking the time to read my post @canadianlbs. This morning I flexed my arm and could actually feel muscle! I like that feeling way too much to stop now... I'll probably struggle most with getting enough protein but am mentally adjusting my grocery list to include tuna and extra chicken. :) Upping my calorie goal…

OP - these friends wouldn't happen to be guys would they? Lol ;) p.s. I've actually hit the button on my fitbit to just satisfy my curiosity, my heart rate did go up but as it wasn't a marathon session, the burn was minimal. But hey, 30 or 40 calories burned counts so..might as well enjoy getting them :)

2 days and a wake up till my last weigh in for the challenge!! I'll also be doing my measurements and posting both the starting and ending (I think that is going well :) ). I got a crazy bug and started the 5x5 strongly lift program this week so hoping I won't be retaining too much water. Work hard for your "good luck"…

Started yesterday. ..my pecs are sore today and I need to work on form for the barbell rows because my back was sore/irritated for a couple hours afterwards. I'm 5ft 6in, anyone know how high off the floor the bar should be for proper form? I watched the videos, but the weights aren't the same size, nor could I lift that…

Just had this problem as I was creating a recipe. I measured out the portion size according to "per serving" according to number of family members when I put it in the pot to cook. But when I was weighing the rest of the ingredients for the casserole I realized I had to weigh the pasta cooked as well to determine the…
