  • I find it terrible at weekends. I have to keep really busy to ward off the cravings. I currently have a book that I am reading (The Stand by Stephen King), A book that I am writing (2nd book in my Odes & Rhymes of Life & Times Series), A Professor Layton game that I am playing on my DS, a room that I am decorating and a TV…
  • I plan what I am eating for the day, if it looks like I am going to go over I make sure I definitely go to the gym, and if I know I am going out for a meal then I go to the gym beforehand to ensure I have enough to allow me the treat (especially the dessert). If i Know I am not going to the gym then I control what I eat…
  • I like the BBC Good Food Cook Books. They come in several different varieties including Low Fat Recipes and One Pot Recipes but I use them a lot because the receipes are listed on here already and if you do come across one that isn't then everything you need to know is in the book. Highly recommend them. :flowerforyou:

Oh and I agree with the comment above about talking to the noobs and making them welcome too. I just want a bigger gym with more…

  • Kate Winslett for more than one reason would be my ideal body shape. 1. She's not too skinny, curves are in the right places and she has the girl nextdoor look. 2. She doesn't look plastic like most women nowadays 3. My partner likes her look so it would be good for me to have ;O)
  • I usually go for a packet of Frootz - 18g is just enough to give you that sweet feeling and with no fat and 70calories they are great. I also like Butterkist Toffee popcorn - 25g bag has 3g of fat so it's a great snack if you are watching your fat intake.
  • I know exactly what you mean, stopped trying to watch everything about a week before Xmas as so many temptations were turning up at work. Back in my fat jeans this week  and I am so angry with myself for the lack of control  Despite this I have manged to consume most of our Xmas goodie from home and am only left…
  • I'm out here again now. Gave up for 2 weeks over Xmas but back with vengence.
  • Hi there, I've been doing MFP for a month and a half now. Joined the gym as well. Lost 11lbs last month after going 2 years without losing a thing. MFP really works. I have been making sure I get my 1200 calories everyday but not over-stepping the mark on my fat intake. I can reccomend the following if you need some snacks…
  • Hi there, I recently started again after a bit of down time but I do find this site really helpful and all the people are really supportive. AJ
