  • I had to stop Jazzercise for 3 months because of a medical issue. Today is the 1st day of the rest of my life because I'm going back to Jazzercise after work this evening. I am so excited to be able to try the new class types & dance to the new songs.
  • Hi - I'm Toni. I started MRC on April 8th & have lost 6.5 lbs. I've tried almost every diet around and lost & gained back the same 20 lbs.many times. I'm hopeful that MRC will work for me. I like the one-on-one with the counselors & the accountability of this program.
  • I always keep hard boiled eggs on hand to grab if I'm in a hurry. One along with a slice of Ezekiel bread & cantelope is very filling & low glycemic. Sugar is the last thing you need in the morning.
  • Could you substitute browned ground turkey or chicken for the cubed chicken? Might make it more like chili.
  • Thanks for sharing. I'm always looking for mayo alternatives. Sounds yummy & very filling. I will probably put it in a LF/WW wrap.
  • Is it a ready-to-drink shake or a powder? Could you share the brand, flavors, etc.? It sounds perfect for me.

  • I have to ask this question. Is the oatmeal uncooked or cooked when you add it to the egg whites?:blushing:
  • Dried fuit has a high concentration of sugar. So be careful if you are watching your sugar intake.:drinker:
  • OK! OK! I know I'm crazy for not giving it a try. I go to the gym 5 day a week & eat pretty good. Just wanted a little help along the way. How is it working for you?:flowerforyou:
  • Oh, dear! Mine will have to be 2 things...peanuts & peanut butter...can't have one without the other. I'm glad I read this before I ate breakfast, because I was planning to have a peanut butter & banana sandwich. Guess I'll just toast the bread & eat it plain.
  • I've started going to the gym almost every day & I admire anyone for taking the initiative to become heathier by exercising & losing weight. I don't even think about what they look like, just that they are doing something. Why don't you buy/rent some videos to do at home or start walking. Leslie Sansone has a great…
  • Me, too. I've actually bought some, but have been afraid to try it because of the awful things I've heard.

  • I thought it was a texting thing & I'm new at texting...very new...so I didn't want to appear to be stupid. I'll laugh right along with you.
  • I was wondering what it meant, also, but was afraid to ask. Well said, our Brave and Fearless Leader.
  • Happy Birthday Marla & Janie. My older daughter is 37 today. Mine is next week - the 11th.

  • Good Morning, all. I'm happy to say that I've lost that pound I gained last week. Hope I can lose another one before Wednesday. I love this week's challenge, because I already drink lots of water. I'm on high blood pressure meds & my Dr. told me not to drink water unless I feel thirsty. But I do keep water at my desk so…
  • Lori- Looks like you have a great routine going. And if you go back to work I'm afraid that the time you have alotted for yourself would suffer. Going to the gym sounds out of the question. And you might fall into the trap of having to eat fast food more often. I work full time & manage to work out 4-5 time/week, but I…
  • Check out the recipes on this site. There are some great ones. What I've done is introduce one healthy recipe every week to 10 days. After dinner we discuss what we like & don't like about it & then decide if it can go into our meal rotation. Some of our input will actually improve the recipe to our tastes. Good…
  • Here is the Cooking Light magazine Meat Loaf 'Muffins' recipe. I haven't made them yet, but they sound delicious. It is in the MFP food database. 6 servings (serving size: 2 "muffins") Ingredients: 1 teaspoon olive oil 1 cup finely chopped onion 1/2 cup finely chopped carrot 1 teaspoon dried oregano 2 garlic cloves, minced…

  • Taco Soup is a great recipe. Got it from Weight Watchers several years ago. I thought eveyone knew about that one, but let me know if you want me to post it.:flowerforyou:
  • Chug-a-lug. Chug-a-lug. You make me wanna holler Hi-Di-Ho. Anyone remember that song? Oops, I'm showing my age.
  • Will do, our brave and fearless leader.:flowerforyou:
  • I agree that you shouldn't eat unlimited amounts of fruit...maybe 3/day...spread out over the entire day. One each for breakfast, lunch & late afternoon or evening snack.:flowerforyou:
  • I asked the same question about 3 weeks ago & received this advice.:flowerforyou: If you spread out your fruit throughout the day, and don't go over by much (a few grams won't hurt ya) then you should be fine. Fructose (fruit sugar) IS sugar, but it's not processed by the body as quickly as regular table sugar is, and…
