As far as I know, there are no scales that sync with MFP and log for you. It would a be a bad idea right now anyway since nearly all of the database has been added via the users and there are hundreds, maybe thousands, of incorrect entries. Not to mention that companies also change products over time and entries that were…

Zombie thread from 2011 and the OP's account has been deleted so they aren't going to see your response, even if you yell it. ;)

The vacations with walking sure do make a difference. Comparing two of my previous "very-first-morning-home-post-vacation" scale readings, I weighed 3lbs more after only a week in Hawaii than I did after three whole weeks in Europe. I knew the walking would help, but I was surprised by just how big a difference it made.

All of my previous measurements are still nonexistent to me. My logged weights are there, but years of body measurements are still effectively gone for me. They commented the data was not gone, just merely not displaying, but if I can't see it, it might as well be gone because it's of no use to me if I can't see it.

THIS. All of this is why I 100% agreed with neanderthin's reply to the OP and why I disagreed with the opinion by someone else that neanderthin was being rude or trying to be funny. Many red flags.

This post is from seven years ago and the original poster hasn't been back since. I don't think they'll see your response, unfortunately.

Having been a member here since 2011, I also believe that neanderthin was not being rude or trying to be funny, but showing genuine concern over a concerning question. I agree with their response.

I'm not completely sure what you are asking, but I will say, if I eat it, I count it.

You will probably have a better chance of getting a helpful response posting in the gaining weight and body building section.

Check for low sodium versions:

The 5:2 diet, popularized by British journalist Michael Mosley, does not suggest fasting for two 24 hour periods. It calls for five days of the week that are routine eating days, while the other two restrict calories to 500–600 per day, not 0 calories. Edit: accidentally hit the post button before I was finished typing.

I can also confirm that we were giving a warning. I didn't have much on it, but I went through and screenshoted my entries after they told us it was being removed.

What looks like dill could also be fennel fronds.

Yep, and I won't bother with the excuses I have for not having started sooner. It's been about three months since my last break and that was for two weeks. My exercise, up until recently, had almost exclusively been walking around the neighborhood. In the last couple of months I've started trying to jog versus…

Did PBfit start making protein powder? Last I saw they only make powdered peanut butter.

Are those Beech mushrooms or seafood mushrooms? Do you happen to know how they compare to enoki mushrooms, flavor and texture-wise? I'm a bit addicted to the enoki in gochujang sauce, but have been meaning to try some of the other similar varieties.

I don't have anything specifically against walking in cold weather, but it's been around -9° C (16° F) all day with 43 km/h (27 mph) wind gusts. Weather warnings about frostbite risk being high, occurring in 30 minutes or less. Not a good day to walk.

It's a beautiful day here if you're a penguin or a polar bear who likes the wind in your hair and the sleet freezing into your fur.

I weigh my unshelled pistachios, eat them, weigh the shells, and then subtract. I don't trust myself not being as accurate as possible with pistachios. LOL.

Quite a while back, maybe a year, MFP removed the barcode scanner from the free versions in the US. I've heard, but can't confirm, that it remains free in many other countries.

I definitely miss that site. And yes, we "lost" the SELFNutritionData website when Flash Player was officially removed from browsers December 31, 2020. Darn it. I had forgotten about that site. I'm really sad now.

Nope. It disappeared many many years ago, but there is a pinned post here where the old users can find their friends if they remember their old usernames.

If you are referring to the recipes on the blog, I'm unfamiliar with all options on that page because I usually never go there, but I just tried a search for 'vegan' and it had quite a few recipes come up.

LOL. I'm an American who didn't take her first bite of a PB&J until I was in my 30s and promptly handed it back to it's owner. Ugh. I do like peanut butter as an ingredient however, chicken satay, for example. And I would eat baked beans on toast. I'll even eat Marmite on toast, but I will not touch a chip butty. Nope.…

I've recently been craving lots of Korean food. I made Enoki mushrooms in gochujang sauce. Not the prettiest photo, but:

Almost a month and all of the measurement data is still unavailable from the app. And oddly, new entries won't allow two decimal places. I can't add a measurement of 35.75, I have to chose 35.7 or 35.8.
