How many grams of calcium is the default 100%?

I need to have 1500gm calcium a day but can't tell if 100% DV for Calcium will meet this requirement

    Google is your friend.

In my understanding, the USDA labeling information is what's in play here. I'm sure there are others, but I think this is a current document, and it'll do:

    https://www.fda.gov/food/new-nutrition-facts-label/daily-value-new-nutrition-and-supplement-facts-labels

That would imply that 100% = 1300mg. Since it's input into MFP in percents, the percents are (theoretically) coming from the labels, the underlying gram value should be the one that's implied on the labels. In your MFP goals, you can change the percent (to whatever percent of 1300mg you prefer), if you like.

Be careful, though: The MFP database is crowd-sourced, so not all entries are accurate.

I've always used 1300mg as my 100% value.
