  • The New York Mets are a professional baseball team based in the borough of Queens in New York City, New York. The Mets are a member of the East Division of Major League Baseball's National League.
  • So this justifies you in calling someone an idiot? FYI you are not the 1st person I've reported. Hope you feel better.
  • It really is offensive for you to flat out call another member an idiot, IMO. So I reported you. The title of this thread is "interesting e-mail i received...." It does not say this information is written in stone. Maybe the O/P posted this to ask ppl here if this info is true. I received this information too in an email…

  • I drink smoothies made with Whey protien (Optimum Nutrition is what I'm using now) throw in some fruits, oatmeal, milk, milled flax seed, natural peanutbutter or whatever-for a delicious, nutritious breakfast with some leftover for a snack later in the day. I also use Ricotta cheese in my omlettes.

  • Thanks that must be it.
  • I weigh about 150#, am 46 y/o F. I walk on my breaks at work for aprox 15-20 min. and I walk as fast as I can without making a spectacle of myself and I burn around 100 calories according to my HRM. I probably get about 1 mile m/l. I know on my TM I can get up to 5.6 mph walking but I don't know how accurate that is-just…

  • I get Bob's Red Mill and it takes 12 minutes to cook. You could try using a crockpot for what you got and start it up at bedtime.
  • Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid since other amino acids are formed from it in the body. Along with tyrosine, it provides raw material from which the body makes the hormones adrenaline and thyroxine. The body can also convert phenylalanine to tyrosine but not vice versa. Phenylalanine comes in two forms,…
  • I love it so much I usually eat it plain or add a slice of cheddar cheese. Sometimes when preparing it I'll use 1/2 water and 1/2 orange juice to simmer it in to give it an orange flavor.

  • Yesterday I had 1/2 c egg beaters omelet with onion and green pepper sauteed in canola oil with 1 wedge of lauphing cow cheese-(sometimes I wrap this in a whole wheat tortilla for a breakfast burrito) And I had a 1/2c rolled oats with cinnamon. Very filling breakfast for low calories.
  • I go with Ezekial low sodium whole wheat bread. It's not the lowest at 80 calories per slice but it is healthier. I was using earthgrains until I notices there were HFCS in it. :grumble: but that had 120 cal.

  • What Dave says sound pretty much like the cutting diet that body builders/figure athetes use to start getting ready for contest so it does work. And no, no need to wear a hrm all day-you will just wear down your battery unnecessarily. just wear during exercise.
  • Anything you can do with rice you can pretty much substitute Quinoa. I usually just eat rice/quinoa plain or melt a slice of lowfat cheese on it. Lauphing cow wedges might be good too. Sometimes I prepare the quinoa with 1/2 water and 1/2 orange juice to give it a differant flavor. I get Bobs Red Mill quinoa so it is…

  • Helen is sooo fake and selfish. Helen (DH calls her cut throat B@$^&) voted to send Kristin home and keep Laura there so she and the others could take care of Laura at the ranch. We really know she wanted to keep Laura because now she is no threat with her injury and Kristin is a huge threat. she just wants to get rid of…

  • I heard this on Mancows morning madness  : Mash up overly ripe bananas in an old bra and wear I think for overnight. Ha! I'm skeptcal although aging movie stars have done this to make 'the girls' more perky. Something to do with the potassium in the bananas supposedly makes them firmer. I doubt if this works.
  • I just recently downloaded Cardio Coach Volumes 1 through 8 to my Ipod after hearing all the members at CatheNation.com raving about Cardio Coach for the past year or so. And i must say these are really good workouts- great driving music but also he gives you challenges ie:hills, sprints etc.

  • Would it work to figure up how many calories per day or week you could cheat? For example say I'm allowed 1640 calories per day. 10% would be 164 calories I could use toward something naughty for the day or save up 2 days worth and eat a candy bar or save for the entire week 164 X 7 = 1148. you would then know exactly what…
