  • Thank you so much....I used to breathe this site and have been away a long time so have forgotten a lot. Back on track now though...Have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!! And---THANKS AGAIN! Good luck on YOUR weight loss!
  • Absolutely not! Just focus and get back on track. It happens to all of us. I have gained 7 lbs since Christmas and have a hard time getting back on track, but think I am ok now. PHEW! Scared me. I know I have done it before, so I know I can do it now. Good luck! Remember: FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS and remember your goal.
  • VERY well said!!!! THANK YOU!!! I needed to hear that...
  • Thanks everyone
  • I have a question about your HRM. All of the ones I have ever had...you program in your stride and then it counts steps as you walk, HOWEVER, when you stop to tie your shoes, it keeps counting steps. I have yet to find one that counts yor actual steps, is there such a thing?
  • You have to exercise as well as count your calories....if I feel like I am not getting enough food or want something special I shouldn't have, I exercise more because you can eat your exercise calories...Good Luck and be patient.
  • BUMP!!! Great idea, thanks for sharing.
  • I would mesure myself if I were you. I did that and when I wasn't losing, I checked my measurements again and I had lost inches...yay!! Good Luck, it will come soon enough.
  • Thanks mama.......................awesome about your non smoking too. Been 14 years for me. Yay!!!!!!!!
  • I have been taking my crockpot outside along with my little toaster oven. I just sit in on a table on the patio and cook away. It smells so good in my back yard. I have even baked pizza and cookies out there. Then we just go from crockpot or toaster oven to patio table.... I don't know where you live ~~~ forgot to look,…
  • WHOA!!! Glad I grew them in the garden, better quit giving them away! HAHAHA
  • I kept changing scales too. I thought they were all bad. (Maybe they were) So I bought a new one and only use it. A pound is a pound. HAHA--Yesterday I was getting stuff ready for a yard sale and got out the two scales for it, when I decided to get on them. I laid all three of them (my new one too) out and one by one got…

  • I am a binger too, so I started spending some serious time in the kitchen every fews days preparing food. I cut up tons of watermellon and put it in individual containers. I wash tons of grapes and put them in single serving bags and so on. I don't buy sweets anymore. I buy 100 calorie bars and 100 calorie snack bags. I…

  • YOU ARE AWESOME!!!! It feels so good huh? I have only lost 19 lbs but it feels like 100. Love it! Love MFP! Keep going and I can't wait to see your pictures.
  • I thought that too when I started out. I set a goal of 10 pounds and stuck to it. I recorded EVERYTHING that went into my mouth. Oh my! Do you then realize how much and WHAT you eat. Now I am aware of everything I eat..... even if I am baking and lick my fingers before I wash them, I am aware that food went into my mouth.…
  • Thanks everyone!!!
  • Oh sorry! ;-) I mean for MFP week..I was trying to see when it started for my burned exercise calories..

  • The exercise I get is gardening....I garden every day for hours. I make it a point to bend over ALOT! Bend, bend, and bend some more...My stomach has gone down dramatially. It is awesome. I can look down now and actually see my feet. Now my shirts don't stick out, they lay flat. It is the most motivation I can have...So…

  • No question is a dumb question. I am not sure about that. I usually measure after it is cooked but I may be doing it wrong...SORRY
  • VERY NICE JOB!!! ~~~~ YOU LOOK GREAT!!!!!!!~~~Keep it up girl!!!! You are an inspiration!!!!
  • Hi there!!! I work in my yard alot and hard, but my tummy just DROPPED off from bending over alot and holding my core muscles tight...I used to find ways to NOT bend over... because it was too uncomfortable with my big gut, but now I FIND excuses to bend over. Where I would normally walk right by a weed in my yard, now I…
  • I was focusing on my weight too, until I measured myself. THAT is the true loss for me. I have lost 3 inches in my hips and 2 in my waist. All of my pants are hanging down and I finally got into my favorite pair of pants since 2 years ago. When I play outside in the yard, I bend over ALOT and that has tremedously helped my…
  • How many calories is it per serving?
  • Orowheat Sandwich Thins - 100% Whole Wheat Bread We found these at Costco but everyone sells them now. They are only 100 calories for the whole thing (both sides) I was using Oatnut bread which is 100 calories a piece, so for a sandwich it was 200 cal JUST FOR BREAD. Then we use Hillshire Roasted Turkey Breast thin sliced…
  • I bought a small THERMOS brand thermos. It is the size of a water bottle that you fill up.You can take the top off and drink out of the lid or you can leave it on and hit a button and it flips open. It also has a little wire hinge thing to put over the button to keep it from opening up in your bag or purse. I fill it up…
