Hey, it's awesome that you are ready to make changes. You'll find so much great support here. Friend me if you'd like. I'm fairly new - returning after lots of time away - & making new friends again to share the encouragement with.

Geez, now I'm starving! :) I found the roasted red pepper at Aldi. I've never had hummus before yesterday. I didn't know there were other amazing flavors! NOM! NOM!

Holy smokes, all of this sounds GREAT!

A woman I know walked for an hour every day on her treadmill at whatever pace she felt like. She said once she had her baby that the weight just fell off from all the walking. I do think she was a SAHM so that might have helped her. In my case when I was pregnant with DS2 I worked full time & was so stinkin' motion sick…

The only experience I have is a girl I personally know who I think does actually sell it. BUT with that being said, I've seen her pictures on Facebook of before & after. There is a big difference in how great she looks & her weight. That being said, I'm not sure about anything else to do with it. I just know her personally…

Hi! I just joined this group. I'm excited! My tip is for busy busy folks...& who isn't slammed these days? I have a hard time finding a bulk time to set aside to exercise. So I began doing about 15 minutes of aerobics before work. I try to walk some at lunch. After work I'm going to run errands with my little one so we'll…

I recently walked a 5K in honor of my mom. DH & I pushed DS2 in his jogging stroller. Due to health issues I wasn't prepared to run but we were gonna make sure my mom got to see the 3 of us cross that finish line dangit. :) You'll probably see lots of walkers on the race route. Best of luck to you!

I'd like to lose 7lbs by Christmas. It would feel great to get some flab off & fit into some nicer pants.

I'd advise to get a premade routine/plan & stick with it. I do the Body for Life program. It has a basic routine that isn't at all too hard to figure out. I do my work & I get home to my little boy. I used to make my own routine & to be honest, I had no clue what I was doing. I never saw good results & I got discouraged.…

There's this thing only I know about... The brake is on the left & the gas is on the right. Maybe I should share with the rest of the world!

When I leave notes or email people & they say, "I got your email, what's this about?" I'm thinking - READ THE DANGED EMAIL! I sent it for a reason. For you to freakin' READ IT & so I wouldn't have to SPEAK to you. :explode:

I started out with Body for Life. I found the book on half.com for .75 cents plus shipping. It's been REALLY great to help me get started. Good luck!

I never said I know better. But you sure don't either. :-)

And by the way, why did you switch dog foods if Purina was working for your pups in the first place?

I have nothing of worth to contribute except that your idea sounds AWESOME & totally FUN! Good luck!

Lots of people live off of fast food & live to be 90 too but that doesn't mean they're living to their full potential & their fullest healthy life. ETA: SP
