I actually eat a lot of blueberries and strawberries throughout the day. I try to eat apples too, but they aren't as convenient for me. I also love going to chick fil a and getting a large fruit cup to snack on all day.

Ahh, this is a good plan. I'm not a BIG fan of dairy, but maybe I could get used to this just to satisfy a sweet craving!
-
. This sounds really good! I usually have berries every morning anyways, so I’ll have to rotate this in 😊

I have to limit my Peanut and wheat intake as well, just not as much as egg and dairy. Could you do almond butter?

Yes, I suppose that’s the silver lining of genetically low blood pressure lol—doctors actually tell you eat all the salt you want hehe.

I think my doctor prescribed me a supplement called Hemagenics and I have to take it twice a day. I cut back to one cup of black coffee a day (sweet goodness that is awful!) and I'm trying to get 64-70 oz of water a day in..and watching my calories. I mainly use our treadmill, mix up the inclines and speed walk/jog for…

Not much really. I told her i was working out, and hoping to lose about 5 more pounds and she told me to keep pushing water and keep eating healthy.
-
. Good to know! Maybe i should eat a cup of berries before and after. I’m just so tired of feeling lightheaded and panicked and I’m soooo hoping these iron supplements kick in sooner than normal!

Can you tell me what you are eating before and after as your ‘fuel’? I’m trying to lose weight, so the long workouts are burning the calories i want, and I was told that working out over time actually lowers your RHR, so I plan to keep working at a decent activity level, but I’m curious how others get through the way…

While on the treadmill i watch music videos (but the singers have to be dancing and in good shape haha) or Friends just to have noise in the background. Watching people who are in great shape keeps me on the treadmill for an hour, at a steep incline, with various speeds.

You’re certainly allowed to have your opinion. I am just sharing my own experience. And I’m glad that I purchased mine.
-
It’s a personal choice to get one. I knew going into the purchase it wasn’t going to preform miracles. However, I do like what I’ve seen thus far.
-
I can tell it has given me a hint of a waist back, and it heats up the core when doing cardio. I haven't seen any downfalls of purchasing it yet, that’s for sure.

My cousin is a nurse and a trainer and she suggested one from Kaior Fitness just while working out. I bought one and I love it! It’s definitely not uncomfortable and it wasn’t costly. It’s also DEF not a lace up waist shaper that is meant to wear all day.

I've been watching this post for a few days. I love the overall attitude! I'm only 5'3 and was signed with an agency from 2001-2003. The recruiter told the agency I had good cheekbones, eyes and face structure. I was on board as a print model and received information all the time about auditions for TV. Now, if I lived…

Good call on the rows and lat pull. I actually remember not being bothered by these when I had a gym membership. Is there anyway to do them at home?

No....fiber cystic tissue feels like big lumps of tissue ---it's not harmful, but it gets very sore, very fast when the muscles around it are engaged.

I'm 5'3 and currently weigh 147. This is a very comfortable/sometimes loose size 6 for me, sometimes a 4 if I'm wearing dresses or dress pants. I would LOVE to get down to 125, which is a comfortable size 2 for me. Unfortunately, my bone structure is larger so I carry my weight differently. I wish I was lighter, but…

I love the original PB2....I bought the chocolate once and ended up having to throw it out because I didn't use it in time. I just use Hershey's coco (unsweetened) with the PB2 if I want a chocolate taste. I also like throwing chopped strawberries in my protein shakes and oatmeal with a scoop of PB2 as well.

thank you! I've used formulazone.com before, but just wondered if there was more to choose from. :)

where is the best place to get the TRX?

I bought a 10 pound kettle bell this weekend and used it yesterday. Maybe 35-40 swings. How many swings does everyone typically do, for a decent workout?

Thank you all! :) It's good to know so many full time working mamas make it happen. I love hearing all your stories! My hubs is out the door every morning at 530, so getting on the (loud) treadmill at that time, in the office right next to my kiddos bedroom, is just not feasible. Right now I'm trying like crazy to get in a…

I just cannot do the early workout thing....I've tried it and it just doesn't work. My body is soo weird and requires at LEAST 8 hours of sleep at night...I wish I was a person who could feel "normal" at 6 hours of sleep every night. BUT, I try to get something in a couple nights a week...either treadmill or (rarely) a DVD…

On your mashed potatoes....how much broth do you use? Your stuffing sounds really good as well!

thanks so much for all the great suggestions!!!

I would love to be around 1300-1350 again everyday and see where it gets me. Right now I average about 1600-1700 a day and I KNOW that's not doing me any favors. Feel free to add me if you would like and we can work on this together because I need some motivation! I lost about 12 pounds keeping my calories between…

Assuming it's cold? Yuck! :) Whatever works for you though hehe.

Trying to shoot for 130 and I'm 148-149 right now. 5'3
