  • my main reason is it's 40 cal for a whole cup - if you buy unsweeten almond milk - so i like using less calories and i think i taste fine with cereal or shakes - jus saying!!
  • i feel your pain! last week i was taking out some kids who all clamored to go to taco bell - so i thought i'd be smart and use MFP to check out the menu and the calories for the choices - i actually found a chicken fiesta burrito for 300 calories and the pinto beans with cheese were like 120 - so i felt ok about a fast…
  • my fav standby for those situations is a slice of nature's own honey wheat bread (40 cals) toasted with a teasp brummel & brown margarine (about 20 cals) and sprinkled with cinnamon & truvia - along with half a cup of cold almond unsweeten milk (20 cals) - a nice taste and a filling snack
  • we've all been there - you have to start somewhere - so just keep going - just fyi, if you're interested, these are my fav foods that are low in calorie and keep me from going over my limit each day: nature's own wheat bread 40 cals a slice - has good fiber and good taste and for only 80 cals of bread i can have 2 pieces…
  • i'm believing that you can do it too - i also believe that MFP has changed my life - for me, no more excuses - no more whining - it's all in "black and white" - keep up the great work!

  • i love your quote .. "don't have to be great to start..."yada yada....so do it...and respect that you took care of your body so you could rest and heal...that's being great too!!
  • what about DYNAMAXX 40 day CHANGE YOUR LIFE weight loss program? it involves a 10 day detox and then 30 days of a daily (meal substitution) shake plus healthy eating and exercise, of course - anyone you know of tried it?
  • enjoy the wind in your hair.......and have friends take pictures when you sail past the finish line!!
  • you're in good company - we're rooting for you.
  • OMG - we were going to share a grilled oriental chicken salad at applebees until we "app'd" that it was 680 for each half - OMG - without the dressing - so we got the half salad and shared that - for about 340 each - you can never "let your guard down," right?
  • good for you - i'm on my first month - it's pretty cool and has been a great "eye opener" - to see in black and white how much i was actually eating - "what was i thinking...lol"
  • did u do 611 calories worth of cardio? 4 some reason it adds exercise 2 your daily allowance. just wondering.
  • we just ate greek last night - the 6 oz grouper stuffed with spinach/olives/herbs plus 1 cup rice pilaf - we shared the meal - along with sharing a small greek salad - even after counting the balsamic dressing - i think you'd be under 400 cals if you share it - or take home half to have next day! just saying....
