  • Don't forget to look at your measurements too! Some weeks when I was discouraged about losing "weight" I realized that I was losing tick marks on the measuring tape. That is exciting! My body was getting leaner and more toned even though I wasn't losing a pound at a time. Hang in there girl! Try to remember the end result…
  • PROTEIN PROTEIN PROTEIN ...it will make you feel the fullest. Chicken, fish, cottage cheese, veggies. Last night I did a chicken breast, mashed cauliflower and sugar snap peas for about 200 calories :) But yeah, make sure you are listening to your body as Tony tells you on P90X and make sure you are chugging down the…
  • In my case entering these activities would be cheating and the goal of the site is to help encourage you to have a healthier lifestyle. If incorporating these things in their life make a difference then I guess its good for them. However adding these things to mine would be taking a non existent shortcut to actually…
  • Yum! I am totally stealing this :) Thanks for sharing!
  • Congratulations! That is absolutely fantastic and inspirational! You look awesome. Keep up your new lifestlye and best wishes to you in the New Year with your goals! yay for YOU!!!
  • I would love to be a part of it. I have never done a challenge but want to kick off a great new year and keep myself on track! I lost 60 lbs in the last year...and am only 15 lbs from my goal...so I need a challenge! Let me know what I need to do. Thanks!
  • I slow down to walking very very slow until I am feeling better...then I am usually much better and push through! I do know sometimes my stomach feels worse if I drink too much water right before or have eaten poorly that day.
  • Congratulations and good luck on your journey! One thing I have learned so far that I would like to share is to not get discouraged. It is not about the scale it is about your energy, being healthy, and taking care of your body. Over time the scale will catch up...but don't let it dictate how you feel ... Just push through…
  • Guess what? You can steam veggies in the coffee pot! It sounds weird but you can totally do it! Buy some bags of raw veggies, some lean meats, wraps/pitas, peanut butter, hummus etc. and you can make some meals! The Jiffy Pop 100 calorie popcorns are great snacks too!
  • Congratulations to you!!! Keep focusing on what matters...you are eating foods that are better for your body and exercising...what the scale says is NOT important...you being healthy is excellent :)

  • You need a pull up bar and exercise bands. They also suggest a heart rate monitor and yoga blocks on some of the videos. When I first started it (before i got the dvd's) I googled P90X program and was able to find a "cheat" website that had posted the order you are supposed to do the videos in. I have the books and they…

  • This is a toughie for sure, I do try to take a look at the menu before I get to the restaurant and choose prior to going. A lot of vegan options are great if they are available. Or I get salads without meat and dressing on the side and dip my fork in the dressing so I use way less but taste the dressing in every bite.…
  • I was the same way...but I comprimised with myself and am now hooked on 1%. It doesn't taste like water, but has less calories than 2%. I also make sure I measure out what I am drinking/putting in my cereal...it was amazing how much over I was going with my servings. I drink a glass prior to eating and then I seem to feel…
