Mfp allow you to 'eat back' calories burned but there is the option to turn this setting off in your configuration. Log into mfp and check your settings.

Peanut butter for me - kids like dairylea with them. I also like fish on them, sardines in ketchup or tuna and salad cream.

Have you tried the salad and fruit bar at a morrisons? - yum even if you are fed up of other salads. You could even get some hot chicken there to go with it.

I am addicted to diet cherry coke but am doing really well at giving it up this year.....I gave myself a week to reduce intake before cutting it out altogether. The headaches are awful but they do pass and once you are through the first few days it gets easier. It's not so much the calories in these drinks its everything…

I'm in no way qualified but our gym allows kids from 8 at certain times on certain resistance machines. I'd get your son some very light weights and show him how to use them properly on a few certain basic lifts. Chances are he will soon get bored. I wouldn't let him push those weights up to heavier ones for a while yet…

You may have to unscrew the end of the pump and turn it over to change the setting to presta depending in the type of pump.

Oh one more thought - do you get a lunch break you could use?

Hi, I'm a single mum of 4 and have also been through the blackmail from my ex over babysitting when we were together. If you can involve him and the kids a bit more you might have a bit more wriggle room to not need to go out on the nights when it's hard to leave them. I'm not saying don't go out - far from it! It's good…

Just 1 for me this week but given the bank holidays I can cope with that. Half a stone over 2 weeks is still a figure I'm happy with when I word it like that. Back to normal this week though so looking for 2 - 3 lbs.
-
Bank holiday messed me up big time but showing just over a pound down today so will have a very strict day to try and make it two.

Hi all, I'm Teresa, in my 30's and a single parent to 4 children. I live in Nottingham and have had a complete career change this year now working as a teaching assistant which I love while studying for my maths degree. My weight has crept up gradually over many years and I have just sat back and watched it hating my body…

I'm down 6lb this week but it was my first week and I worked very hard. Fell off the wagon a bit today thanks to the weather but will be back on it tomorrow and hope for another couple of lb this week. Half term is always tricky though so might need a kick up the bum by Tuesday to keep it going :-(

Really does depend what you want to do - if speed on roads and tracks is your aim then a mountain bike is wrong. They are designed to be robust and strong so are heavy and slow (both because of the weight and because of the traction from the chunky tyres. Doesn't matter how good a bike is if its the wrong type you will get…

This is great. I know I'm late but do you mind if I jump in. I've been talking about loosing weight fo ages and instead have sat back and watched the scales keep going up - I badly need help. Suddenly found myself with a bit more free time so it's the right moment for me. SW (09/25)- 157lbs Week 1 (9/25)- 157lbs Week 2…

Try a slow cooker - I love mine, I get up half hour earlier and prepare a meal for the evening or even do it the night before. It means I know I have something waiting for me the minute I walk through the door so do point stopping at a takeaway. Anything left can be frozen for another night.
