Agree use MFP religiously for 30 days, exercise. Remember you can eat anything you want, it just has to be in moderation and fit within our given calories and exercise levels. You can do this!

Well said!!!! I also hate it when family and friends know you are watching what you eat and you get "is THAT on your diet". I smile and simply say "you can have anything you want as long as it is in moderation and within your calorie count for the day." Then I change the subject.

When I want something really bad like candy or that chocolate sundae, I actually go to MFP and log it in for the day, if it fits w/in my cals/fat/carbs, then I allow myself to have some, if it doesn't, then I delete it and either find something else to have or try to forget it. Welcome! You might want to up your calorie count - it is my understanding you need 3500 cals per day just to gain a pound. But like the others say, do it with the right foods, etc. so you stay healthy. Good luck with your studies - most impressive!
