I feel you. I was hit by a car while running and was completely out of commission for a year. Its extremely frustrating. Keep to your diet, let yourself heal and don’t worry about any extra pounds. Once you are 100% healthy they will come off.

Star Wars (grey Jedi), Star Trek, WoW, GoT, Skyrim sprinkle in comic books and a dash of anime

Deleted the app and reinstalled it. Everything works fine now.

Did you enter a new weight this morning? Because mine was all there before I entered it.

I lost 175, then gained back 79. I’ve now lost 10 of the 79 I gained. Be kind to yourself. Forgive yourself for an hiccups. Believe you will do it. It’s a long journey. When I was 410 lbs I started by simply logging everything I did, eating smaller portions (like eating a jr whopper instead of a regular whopper, getting a…

Carbs are like gasoline for the body. It needs the sugars in carbs to function. I'm not talking added sugars, sweets or table sugars here. I'm talking sugars that do not taste sweet found in simple carbs like white bread. If you are craving these types of breads its basically the same thing (to the body) as sweets and…

You can weigh yourself everyday or once a week, but if the scale starts to turn on you it can really deflate your drive. Personally, if I'm on a weight loss streak I will weigh myself almost everyday, but as a plateau hits I start to weigh myself less and focus on my diet and exercise to find out what needs tweaking. You…

Drink a ton of water, eat healthy, and exercise focus on things that will make you look healthier in your pictures. If you starve yourself before the wedding you'll be tired and exhausted. Not to mention your weight can fluctuate just on the amount of sodium you've had the day before, how many carbs you ate, if you slept…

Just be careful of where you are getting your information from and who is saying it. I've lost 170+ pounds by eating a healthy, clean diet based on my height and body weight with daily exercise (basically how your Doctor or Nutritionist would tell you to do it). Plateaus happen, I've gone through nine of them (one even…

I've had plenty of these days! Heck I'm having one right now and I've lost 170 pounds! On days like this I stick to my usual plan of eating well and exercising. Usually I make a healthy meal that I've been dying to try on Pinterest, but kept putting it off or I'll take a yoga/meditation class at my gym (or even online!).…

Hi! So I've been there and in the past three years I've lost 160 pounds... I'd say I'm serious lol. You have the sparks there to start the journey and maintain momentum. Believe me when I say it's a life and mental change more than a diet. I've changed my diet 5 or 6 times now. Positivity and honesty with yourself are your…

I also have a blog that helped me really process what I was going through as I've lost my weight Foodtruce.wordpress.com

Hey there! I've lost 157 pounds now. It is possible! However, I do urge you to not think of this like a diet or the epic end to you weight loss struggle. It's a looooong road. There are major bums and curves but you can do it if you believe in yourself and trust in your strength. I've always said losing weight is easy,…

Have your measurements changed? You could be gaining muscle. Are you getting enough rest days? Have you thought about decreasing your sugar (all sugar not just added sugar) and sodium?

The best way to boost your matoblism is to do weight training. The more muscle you build, the more you burn. Don't worry, you won't get bulky unless you actively try to. Cardio and hiit help to burn calories in that moment but to get a prolonged and consistent burn you need to build muscle through weight training.

Yeah I guess I'm just not used to pacing myself lol two years ago I could out drink everyone!

Watch the documentaries Fed Up and Hungry For Change.... it's a much bigger issue than you think

Hey there. In three years I've lost 150 pounds. I want to let you know it is possible, but the best possible advice I can give you is to forget about losing 150 pounds and focus on small mini goals. A number like that is just too overwhelming!! This is a long haul! Remember plateaus will happen and your biggest enemy is…

I've lost about 140 lbs now and I'll gladly accept any friend requests to help keep you motivated.

I've lost 140 lbs so far and I'm still going down! I'll add ya!

What did you do before to lose the weight?

I can help one or two people! I'm 26 and in the past two years I've lost 140 lbs. I have been heavy all my life and tried every fad diet known to man. It wasn't until I made the decision to lose weight for myself and my own happiness that I started this journey. Eat healthy and be active, it really is that simple. I used…

I'm doing a 5k thanksgiving morning :D

Sorry but there is honestly no way to loose that much by then. You can make the healthy choices you need to and loose what you can, but losing that much that fast will NOT be healthy! Not to mention even if you did you wont keep it off and you will have wrecked your body.

Usually when those plateaus came it was because I had either lost 20 lbs or I had fallen off the wagon. Ever 20 lbs I literally plateau for a week or two. So for those I just keep pushing. Usually I change my cardio and weight lifting routine and pump up the intensity just a tad. 70% of the time though it is because I…

Thank you! I believe the more you realize how simple it is the less overwhelming and all the more possible it will seem. Good luck on your journey!

Oh yeah they are the HARDEST part of weight loss for sure. You lose that super high of the number creeping down and all of that validation. I just had to trust in myself and have huge amounts of hope to get through it. Without a positive mindset and hope it is near impossible to keep going.

Weight training is crucial!! I've lost over 120 lbs and I've been weight training since the beginning. First off, weight training will create a shapely and defined body that will emerge as you lose weight. Secondly, as woman you will not bulk up unless you are taking measures to do so. Yes the burn is not as immediately…

The one good thing WW can offer is the close, physical community. You can find the same one on MFP but it takes much more effort. Otherwise MFP wins hands down every time.

It will come to you when you lease expect it and can leave you too. I've lost a ton of weight and I have my good and bad days where i can see myself thinner and where I can't. Spend more time finding ways to love yourself as you are now and your visions of the future will come.
