Anyone else find that their weight progress has been wiped?
I entered my weight this morning and it’s still showing my total weight loss but the graph for all time selections (3 mo, 6 mo, a year and overtime) has been completely wiped. Anyone else experiencing this?

Look for active friends- Lost 175 gained back 79
Looking for active friends! I lost 175 lbs, but gained back 79 lbs over two years. I’m back on the downswing again after losing 10 lbs recently. This is the first consistent weight loss I’ve had since I started to gain weight and my confidence is back. I know I’ll get to my goal because I’ve already been down this road…

I gained 60 lbs in one year. It's time to fight back
Hello all! It's been some time since I've posted here! As always that is usually due to my struggle with my weight loss or I've gained weight. This time It was a combo of those things. I won't go in to the reasons behind my weight gain over the past year because I feel like I've been using those reasons as permission to…

Lost 175 lbs, gained back 60... didn't think this would happen to me
I started at 410 lb (6'1" F) and got down to 231. I was hit by a car while running this time last year (a woman blew her stop sign, hit me and drove off. I suffered only minor injuries but it completely derailed me for months.) and have gained 60 lbs since then. I'm completely distraught. I've struggled to get back in to…

What sparked your weight loss?
Looking back, what sparked your weight loss? I've lost 168 pounds in three years. I can say without a doubt that learning to love myself has been the fuel of my journey. Sure, certain events (new job, new people, new environment, new love interests, etc.) led to that lesson, but it was loving myself that started all of…

Birth Control and Weight Gain
I just started birth control this week (NuvaRing) and I'm really nervous about weight gain. I'm using the ring because I can't take anything orally due to other medications. I need it to help balance my hormones more so than not get pregnant. Therefore, I was told by my doctor that an IUD won't help me in my goals. I'm not…

Lost 155 lbs, now I get super tipsy super fast!
As the title says I've lost 155 pounds, but now whenever I have one single drink I get so tipsy! Like slurring my speech and wobbling around tipsy. It's kinda embarrassing! When I was heavier I wouldn't feel a single thing until at least 3 drinks. Is this a common thing or does anyone else feel like this when they drink?…

Reliving what it was like to be 410 lbs
Keep moving forward and don’t look back. It has been my mantra these past 130 pounds. The past was too painful to look at. Looking back was emotionally exhausting. Each blog I have written was overwhelming it its own way. What I didn’t realize was that each post was a quick glance over the wall of a dam. I was overwhelmed…

Advice for Maintianing Your New Year's Resolution
New Year’s resolutions, we make them, we hope to keep them and eventually we break them. Giving up on carbs, soda, setting weight goals – if we are honest with ourselves there will come a day when you will mess up. It happens. We are human! This year taught me that in force. I didn’t set any New Year’s resolutions this…

Too much cardio?
So I'm in the middle of a plateau. I've lost 138 but I have been gaining and loosing the same 8lbs over the past month. I uped my cardio from 30 to 50-60 minutes, mostly high intensity. However, I've noticed if I don't have time during the holidays I've been squeezing in cardio and letting my weight training slide during…

4 Ingredient French Toast..... Sweet Baby Jesus
I saw this recipe on Lift Like a Girl’s Facebook page a while back. It sounded amazing! Just pure and simple clean eating. I saved the page for a morning when I had time to experiment. This morning I had off from work so I took some time and made this super quick breakfast. Believe me if you have enough time to make…

The Little Things That Helped Me Lose 135 Lbs
Whenever I talk to someone about my weight loss and I drop the big 135 number people always want to pick my brain. “How did you do it?” By far the number one question asked. Usually I go on about what sparked my journey, how I gained the sudden realization that I was worth it, but rarely have I ever talked about how I did…

Learning to regain focus after 130 lbs lost (pics)
Every so often I run in to people who also go to the local YMCA. The conversation is always the same, “I see you at the gym and I always want to tell you how good you look! But I never say hello because you look like you are in the zone.” This comment tends to break my heart since I am such an outgoing and social person.…

Nauseous after working out
There are times when I'm extremely nauseous after cardio. I'm not pushing myself any harder than the day before and I always make sure I've eaten something prior so I have some energy to burn. I make sure to stay hydrated and sometimes getting sugar in my system helps. Also I'm on metformin for PCOS. Any help would be…

Owning your fitness
Recently, I noticed a new development in my journey. It’s not a new pair of jeans or a new weight, rather a new mental state - I’m excited about being physically active! My freshman year of college was my most “active” year. I had played in AAU basketball for two years in high school and worked out every day. I was at my…

Starting out vegetarian
I'm in the middle of a juice cleanse at the moment and the whole experience has me wanting to eat a lot cleaner. I was vegetarian for a short time many years ago, but I lacked creativity making food. Is anyone aware of any great blogs to grab ideas from? You know ways to make meals that are quick and easy. I'm afraid of…

Picking up the pieces
I return here battered and bruised. My morale was low. Since January I have been in the middle of the single most stressful time of my life. Every bullet my family and I have ever dodged returned with vengeance, hitting bullseye, knocking us out. I fell behind, I fell back in to my old ways. Food beckoned me to take…

Lost 100 lbs, now I'm always cold
Just wondering if anyone else has lost so much weight that they find they are always cold. At this temperature, this time of the year, 100 lbs ago, I was always sweating and just hot, now I'm always in sweaters and freezing. I don't know if it's just because my BMR is lower or that I don't have that "isolation" anymore.…

Stuck at 100+ lbs
So I've lost over 100 lbs but I feel stuck. It's been months but I just feel like I've lost my motivation and just keep making all the wrong decisions. I know I just need to regain my focus but I'm wondering if anyone else has gone through this and what they did to maintain the drive this long. I don't feel like all hope…

After 106 lbs I Reached a Six Year Goal (pic)
Today I checked off one of my last major milestones that I longed for over 106 pounds ago. The first was to surpass 347 lbs, the second, to get below 330, third, get to the weight I was in 2007 (around 290) and the last, get below 230 lbs (the lowest adult weight I can remember). Today, I have accomplished 3 out of four of…

Weird yo-yo
So last week I got down to 318. The next day I shot up to 327 and yo-yoed back down all week to 318. Anyone have any theories on what might have caused this? Nothing in my diet or habits really changed. I'm thinking it was water weight, but each day my weight was fluctuating crazily. Thanks for the help guys. Also feel…

Lost 90 lb but still looking for more friends
Hey guys! Just looking for more friends to broaden my circle of support. After losing 90 lb I feel like I'm entering into a part of weight loss that I've never experienced and could use support. Not to mention help others where I've been. I write at least every week about my revelations on my journey on my blog if anyone…

Always looking for more friend to give and receive support
So far I've lost 92 lbs in one year but I'm always looking for more friends to find support in and to give it. You would think it gets easy after losing this much but honestly I need all the support I can get at this point. Feel free to add me!

That damned plateau...
So, I'm in the middle of another plateau. I've over come them 4 times before but they always suck the energy right out of me. I couldn't help but get lost in thought and write about how I use my mind set to get over each plateau. If you like you can check it out at http://losinglaurensway.wordpress.com Keep strong all!

Looking at myself in the mirror
So I reflected a bit on how much weight loss has changed how I view myself. Looking in the mirror. It’s an everyday occurrence, it’s unavoidable. Right? Well I could definitely argue otherwise. I remember in the beginning of my weight loss journey I would run past the mirror before entering the shower, keep my eyes down…

Today I'm down 83 lbs!
I got in to it a little more on my blog with some progress pics http://losinglaurensway.wordpress.com Anyway, today I just hit a huge goal for myself, entering the 320s! Like I said when I hit the 330s I honestly didn't think I would ever get this far. Somehow this time has been so different. It's the main reason I've…

73 lbs down and I reached my first goal (pics)
Anyone who has struggled with weight loss knows that setting forward thinking goals can put a realistic damper on the whole process. Thinking about losing nearly 200 pounds can almost induce a panic attack. In three years I had lost and regained the same 50 lbs about three times. So weighing anything below 347lbs seemed…

Midway to my goal and I'm terrified
Starting weight: 410lbs Current: 344 lbs Goal: 290 lbs (and lower) So I'm 4 lbs away from my midway goal of 330 lbs and I have to admit I'm terrified. Partly due to the fact that this mini goal seemed so far from reach and impossible in the beginning and that I'm afraid I'll stop losing. My weight loss has slowed down in…

I'm restarting
I had lost 30 pounds before with MFP but I fell off the wagon and gained back 10 pounds. So I'm basically starting over. I know how crucial friends are to have on here so hit me up :)
