So last week I got down to 318. The next day I shot up to 327 and yo-yoed back down all week to 318. Anyone have any theories on what might have caused this? Nothing in my diet or habits really changed. I'm thinking it was water weight, but each day my weight was fluctuating crazily. Thanks for the help guys. Also feel free to add me

watch your sodium intake and make sure you are weighing at the same time ...am etc..PMS can cause crazy fluctuations too I know from the 20th to the 1st I don't expect a weight loss....I stay accountable and workout and watch calories but I just don't worry about the scale numbers until the 1st then I give it my all for another 20days knowing that's the time I have to lose weight.0

Ditto on the sodium and the weigh-in time. I weigh in - naked - every morning after potty and before my shower and it rarely fluctuates more than one pound in either direction.0

I do this too. But some days it does fluctuate a bit more, two to three pounds. Start looking at your food choices this week and last and see if anything changed there. If not, just keep going and don't worry about the scale weight. Go by measurements or how your clothes fit.0
