Hey, there is no "Special kind of food" I believe. So yes eat within your calorie goal you'll be fine depending on if you have specific training requirements. But the Special trick to this is clean eating. By eating clean whole foods you will be able to eat MORE. Yes you can have a pizza, but that will blow out your macros…

All the previous responses have been great but I highly recommend you go for a full assessment and get the RIGHT shoes for your feet first time. Myself and a friend discovered similar issues mine whilst running and close to an ITB issue. Both of us have seen various specialists and the one thing that seems to be helping the most is strengthening the glutes. I recommend looking further into strengthening exercise for relief

Awesome to know, I'm not alone If there is one part I can attribute to medicore success it's the Drinking. And as was said, it's not the drinking but the food you have after or the lack of diet focus the next day and lack of Exercise. One night of drinking can kill two-three days of good required focus.
