Congratulation! You are amazing!

Don't agonize about the past - just do it. I'm getting back on the wagon too after regaining. That's life. If at first we don't succeed, try, try again. It will work!

I love tamari flavoured almonds. I have made them myself, but just buying them at Costco is easier. They are a healthy fat, if only one can be moderate about them, which is hard with something soooo tasty!

Good for you Sam. My son was exactly in your position a few years ago and now he is much slimmer after having been inspired by reading about good nutrition. He was always into being active (find activities you enjoy or just walk as much as you can), but he upped his activity level also and he is so much happier with the…

I don't care about carbs per se. This recipe sounds awesome - i never heard if a cookie made with chickpeas - i have to try it.

I was 34 for my first and had my second son at 37. Most of my friends were about the same, but then again, i met most of them in law school.

You realize it just means that you simply won't continue to have someting, once you consume/use it up, right? Sorry if you knew that already, but I thought you might not, based on what you said about it and you may find it less annoying, if it made more sense to you.

OK. I'll try this. I definitely do not drink nearly enough water and I'm not convinced of its importance either. However, my weight loss has plateaued, so I want to see if drinking more can help.

Your story strikes some familiar chords. I started my gradual weight gain in my mid twenties, when I got a car and stopped doing everything via public transit ( carrying all those groceries up stairs and for city blocks added up - little did I realize it at the time, though!). However, it looks like you have thought the…

Bump.

That's an awesome change. Congratulations!

Good for you! My son just took up running and I thought I might join in! My son told me if you drink milk right after you run(within ten minutes or something) it helps with the soreness! :)

Jamieson chewy chocolate vitamin D gave me a little bit of yummy chocolate to look forward to every day. They are very few calories and, of course, you can't eat more than one a day or you'd overdose on vitamin D, so it is safe chocolate to have around the house. Also having like-minded people around to go with for walks…

I'll second that re mine.

Fantastic! Savour that feeling of accomplishment!

That's an amazing change. Thanks for posting!

One friend, whom I've seen only from time to time during this period of losing weight, always looks straight at my chest when she sees me and says, with a big grin,"Your boobies are smaller!". She has this strange fixation on my chest, which I find annoying. She seems relieved that, at least if I am succeeding with my…

I was just stunned at his idiocy and couldn't get away fast enough!

It was a blind date about 25 years ago, but i still remember him saying, "You're very funny, but that's not what turns guys on." (This from a guy, who was about a four out of ten in the looks department and who was definitely not amusing himself.)

I am Canadian and I must say this is getting embarrassing - the writer was saying that Canucks, Brits, Aussies etc. ARE native English speakers. In any event, I doubt it is really those whose mother tongue is not English that write about "loosing weight" et al. I hear and see a lot of bad grammar emanating from native…

Oh c'mon. Try going from glasses to contact lenses and see what happens. This is the way of the world. We must deal with it. The whole package counts, whether we like it or not. I once had a blind date say to me, "You're pretty funny, but you know that's not what attracts men, right?". That's ok, he didn't have what it…

I realize this is not answering your question and it may be silly to mention as you've had medical attention, but have you tried Maxalt? I consider it a miracle drug for migraines and had to mention, just in case. It has worked wonders for me, my husband and one of my friends. Having said that, when I have a migraine, I…

Oh my goodness! It seems my mother-in-law has a clone! You sound like you're quite wonderful at handling it - my husband gets soooo stressed out, understandably, from dealing with his mother and is so good to her, even though she is constantly making his life miserable. If my mom was like that, I'm not sure I could deal…

. That comment seems to come from left field or maybe I'm missing the ironic tone or something?
-
You must do something preventive (no advice there), but you could try using a pumice stone (gently - don't go to town on it) on what you've already got. (It's a girls version of a belt sander.)
-
Your eyes even look bigger, due to less fat around them. You've done an amazing job and look fantastic!

Sorry if this sounds dumb,as I know, technically, what the beasties are, but what do YOU mean by "eliminating yeast"?
