  • I am 2 months shy of being 8 years post op! WOW I cant even believe its been that long. Still not at my goal weight but working on it everyday. I have been able to lose and maintain a 100lb loss though. Working on losing 45 more. You can friend request me if you'd like.
  • Don't waste your money on that. If you want to just throw money away, send it to me :) All you need to do is be in a calorie deficit to lose weight. Nothing fancy is needed, ever.
  • I have been on this app far too long and I have soooooo much data here. I am not risking losing it. I paid for the premium. You dont "need" the barcode scanner. Just type in what you are looking for and you will find it.
  • 1674 for me as of today. been here since 2011 though
  • I'll be completely honest. When I first got the email, my first instinct was to leave. Find another app. But man, when I tried to log my foods in another app, I quickly realized that everything that I've done (losing 140lbs) is here, in mfp. all my recipes, all my foods, everything. It's so much harder to leave, so…
  • Usually on the bag its for dry. So what I do is weigh out however many portions I need. (I cooked 4 portions yesterday). The serving was 45grams for 1/4 cup. I weighed out 180 grams (b/c I wanted 4 servings). Once it was cooked, I weighed the cooked rice in grams and then divided it by 4 so I knew my portions would be…

  • moving on to another app... after 11 years.. SMH
  • I cook with it sometimes. Wherever a sweetener is needed. I put it in oats, muffins, pancakes, protein shakes, yogurt. you can do a whole lot with them.
  • Ok I cant figure out how to see my macros by meal? I can see where it shows me the percentage of calories per meal, but not protein, carbs and fat. Am I missing something?
  • I am thinking about upgrading to premium b/c I want to see my macros PER MEAL. I think you can only do that with the premium.
  • WOW!! Thats awesome!! Congratulations!!!
  • OMG that is a great idea. I am ALWAYS changing up ingredients and have to go into the recipe to change it. WOW. why didnt I think of this! Genius!! Thank you.
  • Hi. I am a little over 7 years post op VSG. You can friend request me if you'd like.
  • Sunday I made a pan of the best blueberry oat bars that I got from this site. It made 6 servings so I packed them up for breakfasts for all of this week. It was a hit. I am making another pan for next week too. https://www.skinnytaste.com/baked-oatmeal-with-blueberries-and/
  • I am a little over 7 years post VSG. I remember eating yogurt ALOT, Boiled eggs, protein shakes, string cheese, I used to eat those P3's for lunches.
  • that sounds delicious
  • If you are at your goal weight I would start the reverse process to get you to your maintenance calories. 1300 seems low for someone being at goal. IMO
  • I do both. I put one scoop of collagen in my coffee every morning (the unflavored one) and I also try to keep my protein intake up as well and I have a protein shake (whey) every afternoon. this is the collagen I use. I've tried many and I find myself going back to this one. I've been taking collagen for years. I have…
  • Pasta is easy for me. If I am cooking an 8oz package of pasta, I know there is 4 servings in it and I just weigh the cooked pasta and divide by 4. Rice on the other hand... piSSes me off!!! LOL..
  • What is a millet?
  • That reminds me, I have a frozen pizza that I could eat too. Thanks LOL
  • I am over 7 years post sleeve (feb 2015). Originally lost 145 lbs and gained back 60. I am down 30 of those 60 lbs now. 30 more to my goal weight. Take advantage of the honeymoon phase. The first year or so is when I lost all the weight. Being 7 years out, I can eat like before surgery so watching my intake is a must to…
  • I eat Dave's Killer Bread too. The powerseed one. I can only eat one piece at a time though, otherwise it'll mess with my stomach. I love that bread.
  • The pancake one is amazing. I just won a giveaway on IG for 2 bags of this stuff!! Thank you for posting this.
  • I highly recommend Elyse Ellis's macro friendly food app. she adds protein powder to all of her desserts. I made protein blueberry muffins the other day that tasted like yellow cake. So good. I havent made a bad meal by her yet.
  • What about the two ingredient dough recipes? You can season the dough however you like. This is what I do.
  • I use unsweetened almond milk and if you need to thicken the sauce up add a tiny bit of xantham gum..
  • same here! I am struggling so bad to stay on right now. It works for me as long as I stay on plan. I love the way I feel while in ketosis but getting to that point is so hard right now!
