  • I'll admit to eating the Lean cuisine a couple times a week for convenience and cost but lately I have found something that works even better! I get fresh ground, organic peanut butter and an organic fruit preserve (my favorite is Strawberry) and make some kick butt PB&Js! It takes me back to childhood, isn't a huge strain…
  • I guess I'm one of those people that if I say "absolutely no way" to any food, that is the first thing that I want. If you've got the room in your calorie budget, splurge! :)
  • Thanks for all of the great advice guys!!! I was looking over my past entries and I think I noticed where the problems started. I have been training for a Tournament and have greatly increased my protein levels using mostly tuna. I'm going to kick my Starkist habit and try to prepare my own from now on. Thanks again! :)
  • Do you think that your main boss would be open to a conference bwteen the 3 of you??? At least that way you would have a witness to what you are saying to her and her reaction. Plus, if you send the request via email, you'll have a paper trail just in case things get messier later on down the line.
  • WELCOME!!! Glad to have you! :flowerforyou:
  • Try dark chocolate, strawberries, and lite whipped cream. All three are relatively low in sugar but will hopefully appease your palate. :)
  • AWESOME!!! Keep up the good work!
  • Yay!!!! WAY TO GO!!!!:flowerforyou:
  • Thanks for all the great info/advice. I'm going to try to continue to go to bed early but sometimes it's just not going to happen. I'm a full-time Senior in college and work 35+ hours a week... Any good advice for foods to eat when 7 or 8 hours just isn't realistic?
  • Diet pills are so SCARY to me!! I have a family history of hypertension and the one time I tried to take one dose (I think they were Jillian Michaels) I had a nose bleed because my blood pressure shot up so much. Give me diet and exercise any day! Maybe try adding 20-30 mins of physical activity and increase your water…
  • Thank you for posting this. I think we all need a reminder to look out for ourselves and others in this thin-obsessed society. Keep posting please.
  • It seems like restaurants tend to be heavy handed with the salt and other preservatives so I'm positive it is just water retention. I do want to commend you for going there with a solid plan and following through. Great Job!!!
  • Welcome!!! Great job on your 14lbs!!! :flowerforyou:
  • Consult your physician, some of those products can be very dangerous.
  • I think your goals are great!!! I've found breaking it down into smaller increments to be very helpful and who doesn't love a little pampering! :)

  • Jillian Michaels all the way!!! She definitely targets your whole body and your core is no exception. Tae-bo is also great for those days when you don't want to do as many floor exercises.
  • :flowerforyou: Sending you love and positive wishes today!!!! Congratulations on your 36lbs lost!!! Keep up the good work!!!
  • I kinda feel like MFP forever isn't such a bad thing. Its very straight forward and its been helpful in teaching me new habits that I'll probably (hopefully) use for the rest of my life.
  • I can't say I love her but I do love her results!! (lol) Ya'll should try her "Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism." Its a lot like "Shred" but longer. You will be cursing and sweating but its an amazing work-out. btw, I was just on her site and she's got a new dvd "Shred it, with weights;" if anyone gets it, can you post your…
