Hello all!!! This is my second day, well on the site anyways!!! I am looking forward to getting to know people who struggle like I do with their weight and maybe make a few friends along the way!!! I am a week in to my I deal Protein diet that both me and my partner are doing together!!! I am already down 14 lbs as of 10-11-2010 and only started the Tuesday prior to this date! I am getting healthy for the first time in my adult life! I have awesome encouragement and support at home, and it really is helpful for me to have my partner doing this with me as well! I am the biggest I have ever been and so it was time for me to take control of my weight and life instead of letting the food! So don't be shy, say hi!!! BTW my name is Prissy! Look forward to seeing your progress as well as sharing my own!!! Good luck to the rest of you!!!

I am on the Ideal protein diet, which is very calorie restricted. I eat or drink a instant meal, drink, or bar in the morning. And then for lunch i do the same thing except i can eat 2 cups of raw or cooked vegetables that are low in carbs and cals. I usually sauté them in extra virgin olive oil with a little minced garlic and low sodium sea salt for taste. Then for dinner I eat 5 ounces of meat and another 2 cups of veggies. I can eat as much lettuce as i want all through out the day to fight little hunger cravings, but steer clear of all the condiments, and seasonings that are loaded with sodium and MSG. I also get a snack later in the evening to stop other temptations they vary anywhere from pudding, to jell-o and chips and snack bars. You can find the diet foods at Idealprotein.com It is doctor followed. And the best part is it really does work!!! I am never hungry per-say I am eating very healthy and you can always jazz up the food a little. I also drink at least 8 glasses of ice water a day thats all I drink too! I have good energy, and really enjoy this diet to its fullest!0
