Even though I have done it 3 times, and it has made me lose weight, I think Whole 30 is ultimately kinda silly. I have lost weight by eating dairy, and drinking diet sodas without problems. Every time I went off the W30 the weight always came back. Inb4, "it's not a weight loss program" BS! You don't get to be a NYT…

Meeee!! I am about 140 lbs (5'4") and wanting to be around 110.. I know that might be a unrealistic goal, but it would be nice to finally reach it. The lowest I was in my 30's was 117, and that was after a Whole30, so maybe if I did like 3 Whole30's in a row??

Why waste the calories on something as lame as beer?
-
humans are notoriously bad at tracking calories, chances are you are more likely eating 1250-1300 which isn't great but you probably could survive on that.

Start slow. Go for daily walks for 10-20 minutes, when you get comfortable with that, go for longer walks and then add some resistance training.

It will be difficult, especially if you plan on doing a stuff-your face with stuffing thanksgiving and chugging egg-nog for xmas parties, hehe, but it is doable. I know I will get crap for saying this, but keto might help you. I have been doing that for the past week and lost nearly 4 pounds, yes it is likely that it is…

This is pretty sexist. How would you feel if some guy was like "double d cups" "24 inch waist" "perfect face and *kitten*"? Probably wouldn't feel so good.

It is a factor because your BMR goes down, but it is not an excuse!

It's weird after 30 days of no grains, bread, sweets, cola (of any kind diet or full-sugar), and only giving myself sugar in the form of fruit, I almost don't even miss candy. I had some cravings a few nights ago, but I dunno, I feel like not having a muffin top is worth more to me than the tasty good yummy nachos (ok so…

I have not found this to be the case for me. I exercise and I am typically doing 1200-1300 calorie days and I have been losing nearly 4 pounds per week. (I also was sick for four days, so that helped)

I had to restart mine because of the flu, not carb flu, the actual flu and the medicines - and some of my food :x - was not compliant. I would love some paleo pals!

only coconut oil for cooking, but now I am starting to question my paranoia of cooking with low smoke point oils, the only stuff I have found that says vegetable oils are bad are the paleo gurus: http://www.marksdailyapple.com/healthy-oils/#axzz2nMmc3Aod

With the breakfast tacos and donuts that my coworkers bring to the office, my weak will would force me to quit the fast :o

I am 32 (and a half! :p) so I don't think that getting back down to 110 pounds is in the cards for me. Last year I was down to 117 which was wonderful, but this year I am up to around 133. I have put off buying new clothes for a while because I know that would mean buying bigger and not smaller. Really just would like to…

14-15 seems a bit high, but I don't think I could realistically pay my rent (even though it is split in half!) and live on $7-$8 PRE-taxes. Let's be realistic, here.

I am flat-chested and have a small bone structure, I really don't look that skinny at 110!
-
Right now I am around 130 at 5'4", my lowest weight at this height was around 110, but I was also about 17-18 years old, so I am not sure how reasonable that goal is, but I would sure like to reach it! FWIW, even at 130, I am looking like I have the beginning of a six pack, so I am thinking maybe I shouldn't really obsess…

I read somewhere that thinspo can actually cause you to gain weight, so I would probably ditch it just because of that!

I am pretty addicted myself. Have you tried any other substitutes like teas or sparkling water such as san pelligrino? I did the Whole 30 last year and those were my favorites when I was craving something to drink that was fizzy or other than just plane ole water.

Ugh I gained weight too, but I have been eating really poorly. It feels like with this amount of cardio given the opportunity (and there are plenty in my life) to eat crappy food, I will lose all resolve and binge on bad food. This is coming from someone who used to skip breakfast and lunch, so I can take being hungry, but…

There was a pretty comprehensive study a few years back regarding diet pills and their efficacy, and it was shown not that none of the major diet pills were really effective at all. I used to take them back in my 20s and they seemed to work, but I am sure it was just the adderall in all reality :x

Oh man, I can so relate to this. I have been doing INSANITY workouts, and technically to maintain my weight I could eat around 2100, obviously I want to lose weight so I try to bring it down to about 1500, but it seems like my appetite is way more than I anticipated. I have been switching out the diet coke for water, but I…

I definitely think this could be a possibility. Periodically I will go outside of my office just to walk around the building (only half around if it is over 100 degrees) and that seems to help me regulate my temperature. I hate being cold!
