Swim 1.) you'll get a work out in thereby burning calories 2.) you'll use different muscles-cross-training is good 3.) Its no/low impact thereby by giving your joints a much needed rest

Mine are chopped into fry shapes, drizzled in olive oil, cooked at 400 degrees for about 20-25 mins. I turn mid way through. I have never added sugar or sweetener or cinnamon but you can try.

I just started Zumba (dvd at home). Wow, what a workout! And fun too. I have no dance experience, no rhythm, and 30lbs to lose. I thought it was great.

No pills, fads, or gimmicks for me! I am making a lifestyle change, not trying to drop weight for a vacation, wedding or reunion. Work hard, learn to make the right choices and eat healthier foods for my own wellbeing.

As the poster above noted it's important to get your sleep as well. So as long as you are still getting 6-8 hours of sleep then you are probably fine. However, if you don't sleep it makes it very difficult for you body to let go of weight. After I had my baby I was exercising and eating really well and after weeks of no…

I took a look at your diary and it looks like you need to see a nutritionist. You may think you are eating okay because you are eating around your caloric suggestions but your food choices are not the best. Where is you protein? Fruit and Veggies?

You can look into volunteering at a gym in exchange for a membership. Places like the YMCA usually offer opportunities like this plus you can maybe get to know people through your volunteering.

I lost but I have an advantage (or disadvantage depending on how you look at it) I am allergic to dairy products so I can't have chocolate.

I'm also home on NYE, I have two small children and my husband worked at 4:00am this morning and my parents are heading home at 5:00am. Don't drink, just wanting the hockey game with a glass a water. Go Team Canada! Happy New Year to all you MFP users!

When I was on bed rest during my last pregnancy I had BM issues and started eating three-four prunes a day and that really helped keep me regular, better than any stool softener. I think they taste okay too.

First of all I am sorry that he is treating you this way. No one deserves that! If his behaviour is showing a trend , which it sounds like it is, you need to stop try to change him. Having a child together doesn't mean that you and he are meant to be together and staying together for the sake of your child is not the…

I'm eating what I want and will start tomorrow off with a workout and a visit to MFP to make sure I plan accordingly. Merry Christmas!

Thank you the suggestions. Does the polar come with the chest band?

I use a photo album that fits 5x7 recipe cards and then I write them out or print them off the computer and put them in. This way if I have computer problems I still have access to my recipes. I love my book!

You look great! Congratulations on all your hard work!

Please count me in if possible! I am excited to see what the results will be in 30 days. What a great way to start the new year!

Do you have a night light, mobile, or sound machine? These really helped with my DS. The sound machine was distracting. I had to swaddle my son when I first moved him to a crib and there was some really bad nights for the first 7-10 days. I swaddled him till six months. I did let him cry out and now he goes to sleep just…
