I bought one at Wal-Mart for 27.00. It said I burned one cal a min. Regardless if I was running, walking, weight lifting or sitting in a chair. Also said I was burning one cal a min when I didn't even have it on. Took it back. Don't go too cheap :o)

I have the same problem. Everyone tells me my clothes are too baggy but I hate to spend money on new clothes till I lose more, Daughter suggests I go to Good Will a second hand store :o)

Hi Chef I have found that it is very hard for me to get to my calorie count (1979) without totally messing up my macros because of the ingredients added to food. Another thought Because of a bad heart and diabetic neuropathy I was on a walker a few months ago. I know we have different issues but I was doing Zumba in a chair to get exercise. Actually MFP subtracts calories so you can lose weight without exercise. But exercise helps as well as firms up body as weight goes down :o)

When you've been eating low calorie for a while then raise you're calories it's not unusual to even gain a little until metabolism adjusts. Then you should start dropping again. I just went through the same thing.

I'm also interested in this answer. I also have diabetes and a bad heart. Am home alone most days and found an old Sweating to the Oldies tape that I exercise to (sometimes holding a chair) Looking for something different to change up.
