  • I log midnight to midnight with what I eat. But I know you can change to where your day starts to a different time (though I don't know how). I would just say be consistent. I only do midnight to midnight because I do nights 3 days a week and days the rest of the week (yay grad school). I think its all personal preference.
  • I just tried their free trial this week and I've lost 3 pounds in about 3 days. Again, just starting but it seems good. I like the flavor and it blends very well with milk (I've been using skim milk when I make it). I'll post again in maybe a week to let you know how else its going.
  • I upped mine today too from 1200 to 1400. As far as eating back calories I figure as long as the net is over 1200 should be good.
  • Just an observation I made. This last week I hadn't lost a single pound. I had been under my intake by 500 to 600 because I've been working out quite a bit. Then on Sunday I decided to take a rest day and so I was only about 90 under my 1200 goal. When I weighed the next day I had lost about 3 pounds overnight. My body was…
  • I work nights and go to school so I really feel ya. Something you might also do is when you wake up at 430 and everybody is home maybe do a 1/2 hour workout together. I have been going to my mother in laws house to do Zumba or Just Dance to get her going and we get me niece (who she watches during the day) to dance with…
  • I would encourage the water aerobics and the stationary workouts. I had an accident and ended up bedridden for about 4 months. I couldn't do water aerobics at the time because of a cast but as soon as I was out and in physical therapy I spent alot of time in the pool. While I was at home though I tried to do the chair…
  • I was very happy at my lowest weight (which was still 20 pounds heavier then my goal weight). However, I know that some people aren't always happy about how they look or feel, sometimes at any weight. But in my opinion your why bother shouldn't be about your self image but your health. You said pregnancy weight so I assume…
  • I lost 20 pounds doing circuit training. I have just started a different strength training workout where I actually do 30 minutes of weights on certain days. I'll let you know how it turns out. Been a week and I have lost 2 pounds.
  • Maybe do a workout together. My mother and I used to do the Wii, its not much but it would be something to start out with and then move up to maybe doing workout videos or classes at a gym or something.
  • I do circuit training three days a week. On the other two days I do the treadmill at home, but ellipticals are great. I figure strength training though is just as important as cardio.
  • I feel you on the balancing school. I work too so I'm in class, at work, or at my internship for about 65 hours a week and that doesn't include having to do homework. I was heavy in my teens but not terribly so. It wasn't until 2006 when I suffered a severe injury that I hit my highest at 252. I got down to 210 when I got…
  • I know most people have already said it, but just pick one scale and stick to it. I also tend to only count the weight I do on Mondays. I figure that many people have fluctuating weight so if I stick to one specific day it would be more accurate to track your progress. Like this week I have lost 5 pounds but on Thursday I…
  • I think it depends on what you want. I have an ankle injury and while I loved kickboxing and stuff before I hurt myself I can't do it now. I had someone suggest the Leslie Sansone dvd's which are low impact walking ones and I was surprised at how much I liked them (I have 7 of them now). With regards to dancing I have…
  • I have Just Dance 3 and just bought Zumba 2. Both are great but I feel that JD3 is more of a recreational, do it with some friends for fun, sort of game where Zumba 2 is a real workout. I burn almost 300 calories more with Zumba then JD (I have a heartrate monitor to track as accurately as I can). However, my husband…
