  • There is a machine at the gym I go to. Do not know the name of it but.............it has these arms that you can adjust to different heights. At the end os both arms are handles where you can adjust that lbs. Keeping you arms straight and not bending your elbows, you can twist your body back and forth. My trainer taught me…

  • Good for you. They will not come to realize anything till you hit your goals. Then one day they will look at you and wish they had the power too. Keep up the good work. I resisted pizza last weekend and had a salad. Even though it smells good and I wanted some, it was total satisfaction in the end, instead of "why did I…
  • Awesome for you. Keep it up and you will hit your final goal in no time.
  • Welcome aboard and best of luck to you!!!! :flowerforyou:
  • Best of luck to you. I am also 5'4'' and started out at 191. Feels good to be a slimmer me already. :glasses:
  • You should wait to run after your Dr. visit. After 1 mile, my HR averages 153, at the 3 mile point it is around 177. 230 sounds pretty scary to me.
  • Subway
  • And I am the total opposite. If I eat before working out, everybody at the gym will eventually see what I ate for breakfast. Not much of a crowd pleaser is that.
  • Your body could be releasing toxins through your sweat.
  • Amazing race for sure
  • You rock!!
  • First of all why is the hubby not taking care of his kids during the day. Sounds like he has it way too easy. If he drops off the kids at day care around 2 or 3, then maybe they can stay there an hour or two longer so you can get a work out in. Do you belong to a gym? Good luck. I know it's hard with little ones, I had 2…

  • Good for you. I have missed two opportunities so far. Both for 10k. I was in an accident. Started back running Monday. Legs are a little sore. I am really excited for you and look forward to hearing the results. As for training. Just make sure you are running and putting in your time. Also, do not over do it and do not run…

  • I have One-a-day womens and I also have a one-a-day carb smart. I like the one-a-day womens but forget to take it half the time because if I take it on an empty stomach it makes me sick. Never tried the mind and body.
  • Could be a sign that you are anemic also.
  • On February 27th, I was at the gym. On February 28th, I was in a quading accident and landed in the hospital. Thank God I was wearing a helmet, or I would not be here today. Anyhow, I went back to the gym this morning and was suprised at how easy running only 1 mile was. After not running or doing any excersizing for 4…
  • Are you watching the sodium content?
  • I have been getting the Dannon light & fit. It is only 60 calories and like 10 grams of carbs. Most yogurts are around 220 in calories and 35 grams of carbs. Yikes!!! I change from that and cheerios. Somedays both if I am real hungry.
  • I have been waiting for the lighter longer days and nicer. My dog is screaming to go for a run.
  • I was the same way only 9 weeks ago. I could only run 2 tenths of a mile. Now I can do 2.5 easy. you nned to slow down to 5.0. Do not be going gunghoe off the bat. Then every 2 - 3 days, add 1 tenth of a mile. When I hit 2.5 miles, I stopped lenghtening my rum and now am working on spped. I do 2.5 miles at 5.7 speed almost…
  • looked up california roll. There are 2 listed. california rolls (plural) is the whole roll. california roll is 1 piece. Hope that helps. That is how I understood it anyway. Good luck. BTW: Try humachi (yellow fin tuna) yum yum
  • No kidding. I would also be shrinking right before your eyes. That would even be nicer.
  • Could anybody help me with converting KCal into cal? I bought a wrist pedometer yesterday, plugged in my info and I am not able to figure out how to convert. I e-mailed the company and have not heard back, I googled it and that told me 1 Kcal is 1000 calories. It would be nicem but there is no way I burned 138,000 calories…
  • I use to use the elliptical but my feet feel asleep after 20 minutes. I liked it best because it was an overall workout. Arms & abs too. i moved to the treadmill, I love running. I do minimum of 2 miles a day. I use to do 5.2 at 2.0 incline. I have since then increased my speed to 5.6 at 1.0 incline. 35 miles takes 27…
  • I wondered that myself. Then I learned that weight training helps you burn calories in the long run also. Make sure you do cardio before weight training though. You need to get your heart rate up to be most effective.
  • Omron HR-100C*Est. $30 According to reviews, the Omron HR-100C is easy to use and doesn't have a lot of fancy functions to confuse novices. The Omron is an owner favorite for its ease of use -- measuring heart rate with a chest strap and… transmitting data to the wrist-mounted display. It has a high/low heart rate alert, a…
  • Do you have a boddybug that tells you your calories burned at the gym?
