I've always tried to figure out why I am constantly bloated. No matter what I eat, the moment anything hits my stomach I bloat! I eat 5 times a day, small meals. Anybody have any thoughts or suggestions for me?

How much do you weigh? Do you have any food allergies? How much do you eat in a sitting that makes you bloat (minimum)? Do you actually see your stomach sticking out, or do you feel bloated?0

Are you watching the sodium content?0

I weigh about 134 (depending on which scale I'm on!). I have no allergies that I know of. I could eat 5 pieces of bite-sized shredded wheat and get bloated. Yes, I feel bloated and my stomach sticks out. Sometimes I look pregnant! Of course, I try my best to suck it in but...?0

Could you have a gluten allergy?0

You know, I have just started tracking my sodium. I added it to my tracker on here. I think I will have a hard time staying under in that category. But I try to use pepper instead of salt, and don't eat processed foods. I am having homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner and I chose "Panera's Chicken Noodle Soup" for the calorie content and it shows like 3500 mg sodium! I will have to ask my fiance how much boullion and salt he added.0

I should ask the doctor about that. I actually had my gall bladder removed in December of 2007, and the Doctor said that might have been the problem with the bloat, but it obviously wasn't. Yeah, I am only 23 and had my gall bladder removed!0

I'M THE EXACT SAME!!! i also weight 134 lbs and feel bloated sooo often, it hurts!! just poking my stomach causes pain. And when I let it hang, i totally look pregnant! I went to my Doctor about it, thinking I might have some allergies but he disagreed. He said it could be IBS - irritable Bowel Syndrome...Basically when you digest, your lacking something that stops the movement of gas, so your stomach bloats.
He gave me some prescription and over the counter stuff for IBS and since taking it, the bloating has stopped! Myabe ask your doctor or look for over the counter stuff.
HOpe that helps!! i feel your pain!0
