It sounds like your own course, and everybody experiences the big weight loss the first 2-3 weeks, then gains a pound or two thereafter. Time to up your exercise routine. You're doing fine...
-
Try twice a week! :) Trying to control this to just once a week, but seem to slip in something I'm not suppose to eat...
-
Pack your own lunch, then you can show your mother what you meant by eating healthier. Next time she will know what to make for you and might even join you in your nutritional quest...Have a really great time.

Sedentary.

I overate some cookies the other day. Get rid of the sugar products and start over. It is a new day...
-
Do you have the nutritional stats on this? Sounds good.
-
Becky, you are soooo funny! I'm sorry you visited the pit of hell today. As you can see, we all have our moments. Hang in there...
-
OMG, thank you for the laugh!!! You'll do better tomorrow...

Sometimes the message and intent gets lost in the email, so don't take this the wrong way. There is so much support on this website that I am confused by your statement. Instead of complaining, which is what you've voiced, get yourself moving. The support comes through tips, community boards, reading others successes.

I either exercise, eat a piece of fruit or have a low-cal snack. Build it into your daily plan.
-
Change your workout plan. Sometimes your body gets used to the same exercise conditioning. Try mixing it up with walking (if it's not snowing outside) or use the stationary bicycle. Hang in there...
-
Stop looking at it and take action. Put it in the garbage can and walk away! :)
-
Congratulations. What a way to start the day!!!
-
Change up your routine so that your body doesn't get used to the same exercise. Keep up the good work...

Don't do it! But seriously, don't do it. Those places are temptation island! :)
-
Hey, I like that! Thanks for the recipe...

Most people do not monitor their intake so have no concept of what and how much they are eating. Do what is best for the better health of you and keep rockin and rollin!
-
1 oz = 1/8c or 2 tbsp. Not a lot to play with, but its not suppose to be a meal...
-
It depends on what time you go to bed. You should stop eating 2 hours before bedtime.

I supplement my workouts with Jillian's 30-day shred. Because I've been working out steadily no real issues. I like this DVD because its good old fashion work out moves. Nothing fancy, but it gets you in shape quickly...Hang in there.
-
I believe it does count...
-
I am no help, but thank you for the question because I run across the same issue... :)

Cooking with it in my southern greens as I type! Love turkey bacon and use it almost everyday. I must say I was a bit challenged wih the texture of Jennie O, but there are several good brands out there. You must be aware of the sodium content...

I was really starving the first week, also. I decreased my caloric intake by 500 calories and it really makes a difference. Eat your assigned calories, drink your water, and stay focused on the prize. Your body will adjust...
-
You may want to try standing crunches. Less strain on the back and neck. Same impact.
-
I've incorporated a "cheat" day where I can have a treat. Consider it your cheat day... :)
-
Funny, I was starving at the beginning of the week. Now my body has adjusted to the 500 calorie reduction. You will too. Keep up the good work...
-
Great job! You've inspired me to go work out tonight...
-
I'm losing 20 pounds and my caloric intake is to be 1200 calories; however, when I exercise it will add on more calories - In other words, you'll see this will adjust according to your output. Sometimes it's 1200 for me, sometimes its 1400 depending on my work out...

Walking, jogging, push-ups, crunches, side leg lifts are all free so have at it! :) You can also check out free work out tapes from your county library if you're budgeting...
