I just started the workout yesterday. I've been an athlete for most of my life and fell off the wagon over the last 2 years. Yep, level one was a challenge, but I'm looking forward to improving, getting back into peak shape, and feeling better. Best to you!

Cheryl, Sounds like you have some work to do, but you're off to a good start by joining fitness pal. I didn't think that I could track either but now I look forward to it. The database pretty much does the tracking for you, so there's no calculating that you have to do. BTW, I'm 42 and nothing is falling a part. Get busy…

I always remind myself of the short-term and long-term goals I'm trying to achieve. Also, I'm down 10 pounds and I like how I feel and look which is a really big motivator for me. I was really ill last year and the fact that I'm up and running again is a blessing. What are your goals? What are you trying to achieve? Get…

Hi there. I lost 3 pounds prior to MFP just by cutting back on what I was eating with no exercise. I've lost 10 pounds since joining MFP. I'm just more aware of the calories now and I am making a concerted effort not to overeat the small stuff that I wasn't counting. I was running on a treadmill and lifting light weights…
