Woohoo. Just added you!

Hi there. I'm Dawn. This is the first time I've logged in in over a year. The difference being now I have the motivation. I'm 343 pounds - I just weighed myself this morning - and I cried for a full ten minutes but also decided that today is the starting point of a new me. You are going to do great! Especially with lots of…

Hi there! I'm in the same boat as you. I need a big change in my life - and I'm sick of being 2X/3X. Think we could be motivational buddies? Feel free to add me.

Hi there! My name is Dawn. Feel free to add me! I would love some support and I enjoy encouraging others on their journey!

I didn't read this whole post but drinking water with a straw is a miracle worker for me. I usually down 12 plus glasses a day with my water bottle - but only if I have a straw. I think it's purely a mental thing - but it works.
-
I did 50 minutes of the punch, kick, and jam as well as the 20 minute express workout.
-
Welcome! You still have 4 weeks as of Monday. I'd say jump right in!
-
Nice Job! Keep up your hard work!

So I'm back. After swimming (in a storm), I came home and did the 20 minute workout as well as the ab jam (standing). Looking forward to my heavy day of TJ tomorrow. Going for 80 minutes!

My students exhausted me today. I flopped on bed after I got home and wondered how the heck I was going to get through Turbo Jam today. But I did. I drank some water and put in Cardio Party 1. When it was finished, I took a break and ended up falling asleep (which shocks me because usually I'm amped up after my workout).…

Not a dumb question - I'd like to know too. I have no idea!

Indonesia - but 2 months away from moving to Nigeria!

I borrowed a friend's HRM/Calorie counter and MFP is pretty dang close to what it said. I'd say just stick to MFP unless you have an HRM.
-
Hey Turbo Jammers! Today I did the cardio party, 20 minute workout, and half of the ab jam. So that makes 70 minutes. Keep up all the great work! We can do it!

Hi there! My name is Dawn. I borrowed Turbo Jam from a friend and I'm hooked. I started about 2 weeks ago and then I found this group today. I will do my results starting from yesterday, as you all started yesterday. Count me in! Feel free to add me (mention something about turbo jam so I know I have some lovely TJ buddies…

I'm on week 2 of Turbo Jam and I absolutely love it. It is my main workout. I usually do anywhere between 40 and 80 minutes of it a day, 7 days a week. I'm looking for some new Turbo Jam buddies. Feel free to message and add me! I would love the company!

Hello my new MFP friend! My scale and I are on a love/hate (mostly hate) relationship about 90% of the time. I love measurements - those always boost my spirits. But I suppose the best way I can tell I'm losing weight is when my pants are falling off my booty. It's so obnoxious but so exciting at the same time!
-
I am with you on this! I find it so much more uplifting and encouraging sans the drama!
-
Mr. Scale and I have many disagreements. That's why we have limited encounters. I rely on my measurements. That always boosts my spirits and sanity

I used to have a hard time downing one glass a water a day - let alone 8. However there is a simple solution - seriously, it has worked wonders! Buy a straw! I'm not being sarcastic. I easily drink 10 glasses a day with my water bottle and straw. I can totally tell that it works because twice last week I forgot my straw…

I started at 269 pounds when I did 30DS at the beginning of November. It was difficult, but doable. I would recommend a few things before starting. 1) If you have hard floors, you definitely need a yoga mat. 2) Stretch out a few minutes before you start. 3) Wear a REALLY supportive bra 4) Don't be afraid to modify - and my…

I did 30DS in November and this month progressed to Ripped in 30. I really think 30DS and RI30 transitions smoothly and continue to build your endurance. Good luck!

I have this once in a while, but it is mainly due to living in a foreign country that has lots of bacteria and airborne diseases. However, what I have found to be the most beneficial for this problem is laxing tea. You can get it practically anywhere. Some are tastier than others, and some are downright awful. You'd have…

I've noticed that too. I think there is some logic in this irritation we have. I live in Indonesia and periodically buy peanut butter (Jiff) because franky, I like peanut butter. I came across the same problem when looking up the food in the database. However, one of my friends brought back some Jiff from the states and it…

Hey, I used to be the biggest culprit of late night binges. However, I always seemed to get heartburn the next morning because of it. What I've found helpful is to drink a whole lot of water and eat an apple. If that doesn't help, there's always the idea of not having any food to munch on in the house. My maid has been…

We don't need any more negative nancies, there's enough of them on a day-to-day basis that we come in contact with. This site should be about motivation, not degradation!
