Lost major weight twice. First time 55 pounds. I was in my 30s. No loose skin. Lost 70 in my late 40s. Have loose skin. Still better than the weight. :)

1% Cottage cheese or Greek nonfat yogurt may help increase protein without fat as well as chicken breast.

Over 40 club here too. I have made many great friends on MFP but most are younger and it is hard to relate. Feel free to add. :)

I’m glad you posted @everhopeful62! Good luck in the new year!
-
Still trying to get it together...I have a million excuses...none of them good haha

If you can force yourself to face your “eating errors” it will help you be accountable. Own what you eat. Log it and look at it. You have to face it or it is impossible to fix. I am not saying it is easy, but it is a way to take control.

All new friends are welcome! Feel free to add us as friends, most are very active and all are very supportive.

Okay, let’s just pretend yesterday didn’t happen...

Okay, I’ll own it. No logging today. But I logged in at least! I am not even gonna big to feel bad, it happened, I’m moving forward. Is it the 26th yet lol?
-
Feel better!

I logged, but missed some things. It was too depressing lol. I need to get these cookies out of the house.

Happy this is motivating you!!! Way to go!

Way to get back on track! Such is life!

Hi everyone! I logged my food today and I have no calories left for dinner. Oops. I think I'll take a brisk walk to even that out a bit. @wellnesschaser - glad to have you! Keep us updated on how you are doing. And add us as friends - this is an active bunch. @planj - Way to commit! I know it will help you stay…

Okay so I logged today. It was ugly but I did it! How about everyone else?
-
Kalvarez-you are not kidding. Did well yesterday. Today I indulged a bit. But I logged them. :)

The more the merrier! Val, I’m a huge stress eater so I try to make sure I have almonds to snack on or gum to keep my mouth busy. And I try to drink water. Not saying it works every time, but it helps. I’m so proud you logged it anyway! That is a victory in my books!

I forgot to share today’s biggest accomplishment. I made 3 batches of Christmas cookies and only ate one cookie. And I logged it. And I didn’t eat any cookie dough. But if I did I would have logged it too! Haha

Hello all! This thread is working for me! I came here to post, so I had to log first so I can say I did. Yesterday was actually surprising...I went to dinner and ate what I wanted and my macros and calories were in line with my goals and my blood sugar was good this morning. Yay! (Type 2 Diabetes, but my meds have been…

Did everyone log today? I did and st a 1500 calorie diet it doesn’t love a lot of wiggle room. Do you watch calories and macos? Do you log before you eat or after? I like to log before so I can see what that does to my day.

I lost 60 in total so far, 25 of it in the last year. Looking for active friends to help stay on track. Anyone can feel free to add me. :) I’m 49 and still have about 50 lbs to lose.

Way to go! You look amazing!

Way to go!!!

Thanks everyone! I'm happy. :)

I totally agree about the name! But I do love the clothes. And you will cross the line again!

@TonyB0588 I credit MFP and my attitude with my success. MFP keeps me honest and forces me to pay attention to my calories and macros. I tried without it and was not successful. As for my attitude, I don't sweat the small stuff, try to focus on my health as opposed to weight loss and constantly remind myself that I am not…

Good for you! You look great!
