Wow! You look AMAZING! Way to go! What a great inspiration those pictures are :)

Same thing for me. I was on here religiously two years ago and lost about 90 pounds. Then I got pregnant and gained 40 back. My little one is a year and a half already and I currently weigh more than I did when I had him :/ I knew the pregnancy would totally throw me off and it has taken a long time for my mentality to get…

Welcome! MFP is a great place to be! I've been on here for about 2 years now and have lost 85 lbs, had a baby, gained 40 lbs, and am working on losing again. Without this site NONE of that would have been possible. Feel free to friend me :)

I'm in the same boat. After about 1.5 years on here I had lost about 95 lbs, then I got pregnant and gained about 35 back. My son is 3 weeks old and I have about 25 left to lose plus my original weight I wanted to lose in the first place. So, in total, I'm looking at losing another 100 lbs....uggg. Today's my first day…

Thanks for the advice!!! It really helps a lot :)

Oh man!!!! 4 lbs in one week!!!! I would LOVE to see those numbers again!!! How exciting; keep it up!

Trust me, I know all of those feelings. I have tried and failed and tried and failed. What I've learned this time around is that it really is within my control. Take it little by little. Realize that you might gain one or two weeks, but then remember that you have the power to lose it again. Don't let that defeat take…

Welcome to mfp...you'll LOVE this site!!!!

Oh yes!!! My shoes are slipping off of my feet...it's sort of getting annoying! Oh well, another excuse to shop! LOL

I just recently watch Food Inc. and started buying organics and am trying to avoid high fructose corn syrup. It is quite a bit more expensive, but my families health is worth it! Thanks for the info!

Thanks everyone!!! This is the BEST place to be....talk about motivation in abundance!!!

The only thing I can think of is that maybe you accidentally changed your starting weight without realizing it???
-
Nothing is more inspiring that the loss of those first 5 lbs!! Do what you have to to lose those and then you will get in the grove. Be hard on yourself at first...stay within your calories even though you don't want to. Go on that walk, etc. Once you see those pounds melt....you'll be inspired :)

So true, so true. Actually, it is even true in the midst of the weight loss process. We tend to get comfortable with our new exercise routine and eating habits and then all of the sudden the weight loss that we were enjoying STOPS!!!! So frustrating, so, back to the drawing board to come up with plan B to get us going…
-
That is SOOOO amazing!!!! I hope to be there with you in the NEAR future :) Congrats...you are an inspiration!
-
Good luck to you. I started exactly yesterday of last year and am now down to 213!!! Good luck to you!!! It can be done and this is the place to do it!

I jogged, drank water, got rid of red meats, forgot about seconds, and always had a fruit or veggie with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I'm going to enjoy life today and do damage control tomorrow! Usually when I try to eat healthy alternatives on Thanksgiving, I end up eating the healthy version AND the unhealthy version...making my meal worse than everyone else's!!!! Solution...relax and enjoy!!!! Happy Thanksgiving!
-
Oh...definitely save them!!!!!

My local restaurant has a half avocado and crab ceviche. It is soooo good and not bad on calories. Look for it on the menu! Although, if you don't like seafood, then you're out of luck :(

I totally know what you mean about seeing the new low and then it going back up for a bit. My body seems to go through the same thing. And, yes, the results of a particular good/bad day always take a couple days to see the results. Also, I'm almost always a bit heavier the next day after a good work out!
