  • Exciting! I was surprised the DVDs ended up being as affordable as they were. I'm not disappointed one bit yet...other than all my water weight gain from sore muscles, ha ha.
  • Kinda been my rule that if I'm really hungry right before bed, I eat or the hunger will wake me up! Usually cereal is perfect. Grew up that way, and its never made me gain weight.
  • Yes, they used to bother me a little bit. As your wrists and arms get stronger, that should be alleviated. Wait until you get to ZWOW #19... hee hee

  • The body is made to move - walking is SUPER and a great way to get started. Its been a few years, but when I was forced to walk back and forth from campus in college, I lost 10 lbs in just over a month strictly from walking. Yesterday, because my muscles are too sore, I walked. Anything just to keep moving.
  • Don't give up. Measure your successes that you have already done first. You are exercising and here at MFP!! Way to go! By looking at your Diary: I am not a pro but I'm not getting paid for my opinion here either. UP your protein and lower your carbs and processed foods/sodium!!! Your carbs are high and I hate making…
  • Prefer the ZWOWs! If I find myself visiting BodyRock anymore, it's for the old Z workouts. Can't wait until she gets her new website up. :flowerforyou:
  • Most people just want to b%$#h. Sometimes making them come up with their own solution is polite but does the job. "Sounds like you have a problem, and you need to solve it." (with a smile!)
  • Wow, lots of responses. It kinda bugs me by the number of people who just say "Nope, none of your business, don't help." I hope these are not the same type of people who look the other way and don't even bother to call 911 when someone's getting beaten in front of them. And no, noticing someone's personal habits when you…
  • Hee hee!
  • Maybe open up your diary so we can see what you are eating that is causing the overage? If you drink juice/soda etc that is the first thing to cut back on. Fiber is generally healthy and a good aid to weight loss when in balance, so I wouldn't worry about that too much.
  • I've been doing the challenge as well but still find myself going back to the older workouts with Zuz alot. I haven't really cared for the "new" changes. Anyone check out Zuz's new workout video on her Facebook? You will love it! Feel free to friend me if you're a BodyRocker too!
  • Hi! I love BR and have been following it for quite some time. BR is what I stick to the most - once in awhile I'll do Jillian Michaels a bit. I do often add more cardio to a workout to make it over 20 minutes even if it's just skip roping etc. Sometimes I will do a double BR workout - the current one and then pick an oldie…
  • Alright, count me in!
  • Bodyrocker here too! Would love to add more fellow bodyrockers to the friends list. :drinker:
  • Perhaps add a sugar column so you can monitor that too. Along with alot of processed type foods, I've noticed alot of sweet type snacks in your diary and while they may be "low calorie" decreasing sugar intake can dramatically help weight loss, too.
  • That's awesome!
  • Just to offer some additional thoughts: There's a difference between always asking someone for their opinion (maybe he is getting asked opinions alot and you don't realize it) vs someone always obsessing over giving their thoughts to you on how you should be. If a person asks another for their opinion and receive an honest…
  • I've read if the stretch marks are still red there's still hope to heal them considerably. Once they turn white/grey - laser treatment is about the only thing that will get rid of them. Has anyone tried Tamanu Oil? I've considered trying some for stretch marks. If anyone's tried it I'd love to hear about any results.
  • That's awesome! Thanks for sharing, and good job!
  • People noticed at about 15 lbs or so but I think it was mostly when I was buying new clothes that fit better - esp the pants.
  • I realized last week I am at the point in my exercising where this seems to be my problem area as well. =) I wish to lose only 10 more lbs and so I am amping up my cardio as I have been focusing on strength and only doing strict cardio about once a week. I decided that I will have to make sure the duration of the sessions…
  • I did Bodyrock.tv for a couple months with no interval timer. Many of her workouts you can just do a set # of reps and just push yourself during that set. However, once I got my Gymboss, it held me to a whole new level. I absolutely love my Gymboss - and it seems to hold up well getting dropped on a concrete floor unlike…
  • Awesome! Just read your post - thanks for sharing!
  • When it comes to muscle building there is a different train of thought by many. (ie: cardio or muscle building, not both at the same time). A friend showed me this site (www.musclehack.com) and I've been reading off it. Has alot of good information and am starting to try and follow a bit of what is talked about here. Has…
  • Butter Lettuce Red Pear Avocado Sunflower Seeds Croutons [grilled chicken sometimes] Ranch Dressing OMG - good !!!
  • Very nice post! Bump for later :flowerforyou:
  • Bump! :flowerforyou:
  • Ditto on what others have said on the soup!!!
  • I definitely had to practice on my self control. Two things worked for me: 1) Out of Sight, out of mind. Get up, and put it away! 2) The clock. If I want something I will give myself a time limit. I have to wait until another 20 minutes, or wait until 4pm..or whenever. In the mean time, distract yourself, find something…
