Low carb works for me. It's a lifestyle change for my medical situation. I average about 15% carbs a day. Before this, I was taking in about 50% carbs a day with exercise and calorie counting and losing as well. Different things for different situations.

Goal: Burn 3500 calories in a week Monday: Did absolutely nothing! Tuesday: 1421 calories burnt (elliptical, treadmill, bike, strength) Wednesday: 1286 calories burnt (elliptical, treadmill, Walmart, cleaning) Thursday: Let us pray Friday: Pray harder Saturday: Help us Lord! Remaining for week: 793

I'm concerned the elliptical wont help with my stomach. How is that working for you or was it even a concern?

I'll jump on the bandwagon with everything else and say OLD NAVY is the best I have found. Be careful because some of their stuff run a bit big. Their dresses are very comfy and I love their shirts. Scales are not always accurate. I can weight at night and get one reading and then in the morning be down 4 pounds. When I eat a lot, the scale does not always show it the same day but I can tell the difference during the week. Note: Dont punish yourself! LOL You ate good. Enjoyed your evening. Move forward.

Looks like I need a better machine! LOL. I will find the manual and try to figure out what the speed is. It also has a distance but it just say if its miles, km, etc. I know its not miles because I usually am up in the thousands. LOL

Glad you found a way to get enough room for a good dinner. Subway's calories comes from the bread, cheese, and mayo. You have to be very careful. Believe it or not, the white bread is the lowest calories. I always thought it was the wheat or oak or something. Now when I have subway, I get a foot long with no cheese. I only…

I am struggling as well. I am doing the elliptical for about 75 minutes a week. I know it's not a lot but its what I can do right now. Cant wait to find out what others are doing. As for all those programs, I AM NOT THERE YET..LOLLLLL GREAT JOB FOR YOU!

Hey. It's really easy to count calories with a heart monitor. You can get them free at most doctor offices. They also sell them at Wal-Mart. Another thing to consider is using this website to count your fitness and stuff. When you put in what you did and how long, it calculates your calories for you. My husband is really…
