Yay!! Good job!! :)

@betterhalfbarone good luck! You'll do great! If you get too tired just slow down a bit! The first few minutes are the toughest then it's all good for the rest! :)

@Alatariel75 Lol! Me too now!!

I always pack a couple bananas or apples and water. If I get tempted I have one and it works for me.

I use an actifry and when I log it I use the skinless chicken wing option for logging and measure my sauces and log the hot sauce and ranch separately. I think that's what you're asking?

It's tough starting out that's for sure. When I started I could barely run a minute! I used the C25K app and it works! I'm up to 22 minutes running straight. Also like someone else mentioned running outside somewhere beautiful like a park is super rejuvenating and hardly seems like a chore! The hardest part, for me, is…

Lots beans in salads and soups or burritos. Plain Greek yogurt and frozen fruit. And I also a use a vegan protein powder for those days I didn't quite get enough. Oh and I also just recently discovered tofu.

Nachos are my weakness! I'm arguing with myself as we speak! lol.

I make mine with one egg and one small-medium banana. Two eggs, I don't like the consistency. I add a heaping tbsp of oats to mine along with a tbsp of ground flax seed and some cinnamon and cook in coconut oil! I eat these nearly every day! Topped with fruit or a bit of peanut butter is good too! It took me a couple times…

Good luck, it's not so bad @ABabilonia :)

I did it! And then some! After stalling ALL morning I finally did it. I ran during my cool down too! 25 minutes straight! I find, for me anyways, that I hit a certain level of fatigue but it doesn't get any worse and I can manage it for a long time. Good luck on Friday @WandaVaughn

I hate cardio if it's on a stationary machine. Hate is an understatement. Cardio outdoors is more my style and way less of a chore.

3 or 4 times now. But this time it's going to be a rest of my life lifestyle change. Not doing this again because I won't have to (fingers crossed lol)

"Never give up! Never surrender!" - Galaxy Quest lol. There are some awesome mottos on here. I love it!

Mind over matter. It's like cutting back or quitting anything. You have to want to do it. I struggle with fast food too. But now before I head out I make sure I have some food in my belly and I make sure I have a banana or apple or some nuts and water with me now. It helps. When I'm tempted I eat the fruit or nuts and it…

Any kind of frozen fruit (no sugar added) along with a handful or two of spinach, a cup or two of almond milk, a banana (this is a must for a nice smoothie consistency)). You can also add chia seeds or oats or nuts.

I love black tea. The stash name brand is my favorite. So much flavour!
-
Yup like someone else mentioned. Put it in a bowl with papertowl on top. Lasts much longer!

A poached egg on a piece of rye toast with no butter and a banana. 55 calories for the bread and 70 for the egg and about 110 for the banana. M It was low cal and filling. It fuelled me for a run and then some.

A big handful of spinach. A cup or two of almond milk a banana and I add some assorted frozen non sugar added fruits. I like to use raspberries, strawberries, cranberries and a berry boost blend. @Fallfrenzy that sounds amazing! I'm gonna have to try that!

Asics are the best most comfortable shoe for running for me...always! Got these babies for $80 on a clearance sale and wished I bought them all! Lol.
-
@1shedev like what? dry spices or like a hot sauce? Ive heard of people putting Siracha sauce on popcorn before lol.
-
@CynthiasChoice is tastes slightly coconutty on some kernels. Very mild which is good I don't have much of a sweet tooth. But mixed with the salt it's a perfect combo. Similar to kettle corn just way less sweet.

@GeorgiePie88 thanks! Yeah Rush is the reason I get up every day. Haha. Rush fans unite! My license plate says Geddy lol. I tried the seaweed this week so it's funny you mention that. Couldn't do it! Lol. But I like the banana and chocolate chips idea. :)
-
I will! Thanks! :)

I only just discovered it! When I realized how many calories I was eating in butter alone I was shocked and found this method. The only way for me now. :)

I've been new to it myself and had some bad recipes. But got one that was good. I sliced the extra firm tofu into about 1/3 inch slices (after draining water) and put in a ziplock bag with beer and BBQ sauce and marinated for a few hours and then BBQ'd (on a well oiled grill). Put on a bun with lettuce tomato onion and…

Yeah good reads guys. Thanks. I don't eat all my calories back anyways thankfully but good to know. :)
-
@SaraKim17 I just cut it up and throw it in raw. :)

@Machka9 Because the numbers on a machine or in MFP are estimated numbers based on nothing about you. They are just general. My heart rate monitor is set up for my gender, age, height and weight and actually measures my heart beat and provides a more accurate calculation. They are apparently way more accurate from the…
