Craving for nachos, cheese and jalapenos

Options
Feel like eating these. Only have 300 calories left and these are 600 calories.

Not to mention high in fat. Which is why they taste so damn good!

Should I eat or not eat?

I think I'll pass today. I'll go buy some low fat cheese tomorrow and make it with that.

Just eat a little and move on. Or eat all of them and eat 100 calories less than normal the next three days.

Well... jalapenos are low-cal. Can you maybe make flour tortilla chips? (Spray tortillas with cooking spray, cut into wedges, add salt/seasonings and bake about 10 minutes until crispy. I believe that a 7" tortilla cut into 8 wedges is about 100 calories. Salsa is low-cal, too. As far as the cheese... maybe use your own and less than usual?

Or eat. 300 calories over in a week is NOT significant. 3500 calories over maintenance=1 lb gained. So, if you really want the 600-calorie nachos, accept no substitutes... have them, enjoy them, log them and move on.

I'd eat the nachos and worry about the .08 pound discrepancy later.

I love the Jalepeno and Cheddar Smartfood Popcorn. Plus a serving is 4 cups and 260 calories.

I've decided to make them but keep it under 400 calories. Been wanting them for 3 days but resisted so far.

Off to calculate how much of what I need.

Good. That's how you learn to moderate food.

Thanks. Two days ago I was having a full 180g of tortilla chips, 100g of cheese, plus extra salt.

    Really proud of myself.
Used 35g cheese, 33g crisps and no salt added.

I'd like to see them with the cheese on top.. lol

Lol. Normally that's what I do. However I didn't have enough cheese to put on top plus keep in the bowl without it getting cold.

Usually that bowl would be brimming to the top, the plate would be a dinner plate as opposed to a side plate, with the nachos half covered in cheese.

I would eat two dinner plates covered with chips and a half pound of cheese. That's why I can't have nachos....
