did you put that weight on in one year? Doubtful. Have realistic expectations or you will fail and give up. 1lb a week is a healthy weight loss rate, and sustainable.

if you find the gym boring-you're not working out!

put on your big girl panties and deal with it! Not everyone is coming from a "negative" place, its YOUR filter that needs adjusting

ABs are made in the kitchen! Losing 5 lbs won't do it.

you should be eating lots of protein and fiber to keep you fuller longer. If your not making good choices, eating empty carbs will only cause you to want to eat more.

Not sure I really understand ..... Multi vitamin help you get nutrients that may be missing in your diet, they dont GIVE you energy. That being said, I'm a 47 year old runner, I take joint support and it does really help. I'm also very thin so I take extra Calcium to prevent osteoporosis (which is common for people with my…

I work at a specialty running store-get fitted. Its not just about comfort. Pronation and arch type are the primary reasons to be fitted properly. It will help with avoiding injury and becoming a more efficient runner.

really? Eating when you're not hungry makes no sense. Most people probably got over weight for that exact reason. EAT SMART is my moto. I'm not huge on breakfast, so I eat AFTER my morning workout. I shoot for high protein. Skipping meals is also not good, it tends to make you over eat and not make good choices.

simply put-you have to find what works for YOU

My goal is set at 1251 and I'm not starving or hangry! I'm 5'5 and weight 120lbs. I have a very small frame and when I eat more I gain weight-I've tried it. It took me some time on maintenance to find the right number. I focus on protein first, it helps keep me fuller longer. I DON'T SKIP BREAKFAST! I do however exercise…

I think you would be better off tracking your macros/nutrients and find where you are lacking and make changes in your diet. You stated you use Weight Watchers-if you are eating "their" meals, they are processed and…

I can't believe how many people worry about running. Just run-YOUR race. YOUR pace! The more you do it the better/faster you will get.

bean burrito with mustard on top-been doing it since I was a kid.

wish I could remember the name-but it was so bad I can't!

ANY heart rate monitor will be more accurate than calculating another way-but POLAR is the most expensive and not necessary.

DO IT FOR YOU. My husband could stand to lose some weight but that doesn't change my goals. I DO IT FOR ME!
-
the only one telling you to change your route and to feel uncomfortable is you! I never worry about such things-I run in a familiar area always and wear headphones. No one gets between me and my run!

those are the best compliments!

I graduated at 95lbs. I am now 120. I need the weight, believe me.

weight loss happens in the kitchen.

you can also schedule one appt with a PT, explain what your goals are and they can build a routine for you to follow.

it did say they hit a plateau. Just sayin.... OP-its obvious what you are doing isn't working how you would like it to, perhaps you need to tweek things a bit, change up your workout routine. Our bodies adapt easily, shock it with something new. Good luck

what are your stats? Height, current weight? Are you using a food scale?

who cares if people think its selfish, vain, or whatever-its YOUR life.
