  • I definitely sympathize with you! For me, it helps to plan out my meals everyday in a food journal and then log them on My Fitness Pal after I eat them. By doing this, it shows me how many calories I am eating, and it helps me to stay on track. I pack my food in a lunch bag for work. I have had the problem of feeling…
  • I like the Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds workouts, too. This will sound really nerdy, but I like the Richard Simmons Sweating to the Oldies and Disco Sweat.:) I used to do the Leslie Sansone and Disco Sweat with a friend of mine. We had so much fun laughing as we did Disco Sweat. I think we burned more from laughing…
  • I like your blogs.:) I also did a session with a personal trainer but can't do it on a regular basis. I did learn a lot from it though, so it wasn't a waste.
  • I used to go to water aerobics on post, and it was a great way to meet some great people! It's a little intimidating at first, but it gets easier. I was kinda like you as far as living on my own before getting married and depending on my husband now. It forced me to step out of my comfort zone a lot.
  • Welcome! I know how you feel, but you can do it! Hang in there and just get back into it if you fall down.:)
  • I have a HUGE sweet tooth, too. I like to eat 4 oz of yogurt with an apple sliced into small pieces. It's really good, low calories, and gives me that sweetness I crave.
  • Welcome to MFP! I'm really liking this site; it's helped me to lose 8 lbs. so far. Good luck!
  • I do the same thing. I get going and feeling good for a few days, and then laziness sets in and I get off track. The key for me is just to remember why I'm doing this and force myself to go to the gym and eat more healthy foods. I think a lot of times, for me anyways, it's mind over matter. Once you do it for a while,…
  • My gym has some float belts, so I put one on and swim laps with it. It helps me not to be as tired, so I can swim longer. I still get a really good workout.
  • 10 tablespoons equals 2/3 cup according to ask.com, so....divide the calories by 5 and you should get the number of calories in 2 Tbsp. Hope that helps.:)
  • I do water aerobics, and I love it! I burn over 300 calories per class. I count 50 out of 60 minutes since a few minutes of the hour are spent stretching and not actually working out. There ARE quite a few older people there, but my teacher doesn't teach it to be extremely easy. I have joint problems, and it's a LOT less…
  • That sounds really good! Thanks for sharing!
  • Aspartame can cause a LOT of health issues. It can mimic things like fibromyalgia and could cause Alzheimer's and many different things. I saw a video on it in my Medical Terminology class. It's not good for you at all. It's hard to find any low-calorie things that DON'T have it in them, even gum. I guess if you don't have…
