135 calorie cobbler a la mode
1/4c dry whole oats
1 small apple cut into chunks (peaches or berries work too!)
Cool Whip Free topping - frozen
splenda (or whatever sweetener you like)
cinnamon
I Can't Believe it's Not Butter Spray
* Toss the apples chunks into a ramekin (if you dont have one, any small dish you can bake in or even muffin pans work)
* Sprinkle with cinnamon and splenda to taste
* In seperate dish, spray the oats with a few sprays of ICBIB spray to moisten
* Sprinkle cinnamon & splenda on the oats and stir to coat them
* Pour oats on top of apples
* Bake 20 minutes @ 375 degrees
* Top with 2tbl frozen Cool Whip Free
135 calories
54 carbs
1g fat
3g protein
16g sugar (15g from the apple +1g from the cool whip)
6g fiber
** note, using a different fruit will change the nutritional info.
I usually make this with blackberries and don't put cinnamon on them; just on the oats. I've also seen people use their favorite granola bar or cereal for the topping. But, of course, this will increase the calories & fat content. If you like a lot of topping, you might want to use 1/2 oats. Get creative and customize it!

A good way to add some protein in would be instead of the cool whip do a dollop of 0% greek yogurt!! Yum!0

I'm always game to add protein! Can you freeze the yogurt? I like the cool whip because it's low cal and when you freeze it, it's like ice cream. So, yummy with the warm fruit & oatmeal topping.0 -
