That sounds cool! I agree with the last response.. Firmer sand closer to dirt or pavement. Dryer sand, more energy expended. Similar to trail running since the footing is varied and requires more muscle use to maintain sure footing and moving forward. Have a blast man!

The idea is to put up people that you know are great friends and people you want in your corner! Great idea!! Thanks Runningneo122!!

I recommend runningneo122, skolls081102, Newfiedan, staceyl76, Rileysowner, and bigbeaver! I have a few other great cheerleaders on my friends list and everyone of them comments daily and is 99.9% of the time positive. That's my two rules. Must comment once or more a week and must be positive. Yes, by all means vent, but…

Not sure if you all have room for one more, but I read the book, drank the grokade, and plan on getting as close to this type of living as possible. Not sure (even though I read the last week or so of posts) how this works, but last week I was 258lbs. On Monday morning, 253.2lbs. this was only 3 days in following most of…

I see the 80/20 rule being 80% food management, 20% the other 9 rules. Then food should be followed 80% or better. Better following, better results in health and fitness. I'm going to have an uphill battle eliminating cheeses. I love cheese.. All other dairy I should or have all ready eliminated.

You are doing great!

Here is one I am looking at doing on my own time.. MRT • Go through this circuit 3-4 times • Rest 1-2 minutes at the end of each circuit • Rest as little as possible between exercises within the circuit • As you get better and stronger, add resistance by wearing a weighted vest 1) Prisoner Squat -- 20 reps 2) Close-grip…

It's always free to ask for a little guidance! They may go so far as to set up a routine for you! Also you could look at routines on line. There are plenty of sites that have whole workout plans. I don't know if you have Newfiedan on your list on here but he is great with suggesting plans and sites to use. Just a thought.…

Thanks for the ideas my friends! You bring up a lot of valid points! I figured I gained some muscle, but I don't think I gained the difference of 11 and 4 pounds.. That would be 7 pounds of muscle.. I'm not lifting for bulking purposes.. Anyone else have any other thoughts? My diary for food and exercise are open to the…

Great post OP! This is a topic that bears repeating over and over again!!

Stop calling it a diet. That's step one. You have made a change. Part of the change is eating healthier and exercising. Beyond that, life still goes on. Tonight you made a choice. If you planned it and this is not an every day or even every week thing, then it's not the end of the world. If you look at your new approach to…
