  • * Met my husband when I was 17 and him 21. * We got engaged after 2 years of dating. * When we got married I was 20 and him 24, we had been together a little over 3 years at the time. * I am now 26, him 30, and we're coming up on our 6th wedding anniversary this year.
  • How old is your baby? My twins are 20 months old and I felt random c-section pain for a good 8 months or so...just random, whenever twinges. I still have awful, ripping type pain when I work my abs, but when at rest that area is pretty much just numb to the touch. I know that my muscles had major surgery on them and it's…
  • My husband is also an alcoholic and suffering from depression. He was sober and going to AA for 5 months before falling off the wagon a few weeks ago. He never came home one night and it turns out he was arrested for DUI. As angry as I was, I was glad he was safe in jail. Getting arrested was probably the best thing that's…
  • Week 1 for me! Weekly Goal: 3500 Mon: calories burned (how they were burned) Tues: calories burned (how they were burned) Wed: calories burned (how they were burned) Thur:calories burned (how they were burned) Fri: calories burned (how they were burned) Sat:calories burned (how they were burned) Sun:calories burned (how…
  • Hi! I'm an almost 26 year old mom to 19 month old twins. I was at about 250 - 260 right after I gave birth. I'm now down to 204 and am currently aiming for 175.
  • Amazing transformation! I think you look gorgeous in both pictures.
  • When I go out walking I normally wear jeans or sweatpants, long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt, gloves, scarf, and my winter hat that covers head, ear and chin. On any given day the temperature is between 0F and 25F here. The kids are in their clothing, fleece snowsuits, fleece hat and scarf, down blanket, and wind guard over…
  • I'm down about 13lbs since November. The only person who has noticed is my husband...and he really only just said so the other day while we were in bed together. I think clothes hide a lot...and if you haven't bought new clothes for yourself yet then your awesomeness is hiding behind baggy clothes. Does anyone know you're…
  • I've voiced to my husband quite a few times that I would love a tummy tuck if we were ever rich and had lots of money. Being pregnant with twins destroyed my stomach. At 36 weeks I was measuring at about 55 weeks in size...I was massive despite only a 40lb weight gain. Now 19 months later I've dropped almost 60lbs and my…
  • I measured myself in November for the first time ever. Did neck, chest, ribcage, arms, waist, hips, thighs, and calves. I wrote everything down and then forgot about it. Re-measured about a week ago (so two month lapse) and was amazed to see I was down 12 inches over my whole body! I'm definitely going to try and measure…
  • I've been doing this arm workout with 3lb weights...in the diagram it shows the person using 24oz water bottles. It might not be exactly what you're looking for though: Erase Arm Flab Fast http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ow3Q1QBYlHQ/Te6yg5RROrI/AAAAAAAACPs/-89KrIlCfH8/s1600/2.jpg
  • I have 19 month old twins and am constantly chasing after them. Some days I find myself not getting a chance to eat until lunch time. So my meal times are all over the place and the "hunger" feeling just kind of disappears. I don't worry too much about whether or not I hit my daily calorie goal...I just make sure that I…
  • I managed to do 16 minutes of running, 8 minutes of abs, and 7 minutes of arms. I try and aim for atleast 30 minutes of exercise a day.
  • I always showered at the gym when I was a teen/early 20's. Now I've got 2 kids and if I'm at the gym that means I'm also paying a babysitter to be at my house while I workout, so I am in and out fast and can just shower at home.
  • We do takeout once a month to celebrate monthly sobriety marks for my husband. Those nights I eat whatever I want. I'll do my best to track the calories...but sometimes you just need to indulge and enjoy yourself. My takeout of choice is Thai food, love getting tofu and vegetables in a peanut sauce, coconut rice, and…
  • My heaviest ever was 260 back in 2009. Then I did Weight Watchers and got myself down to 205. That was the best shape I had been in since my teen years. People complimented me like crazy, told me I looked awesome. I dropped that 50 or so pounds in about a 5 month period. Then....I got pregnant with twins and got right back…
  • @yeroc1437 Great shape! Love your facial hair too! 8
  • Strict rule in my house, this is not a restaurant! I cook dinner every night, you eat what I cook or don't eat. It's how I grew up, it's how my kids will grow up. There might be some protesting, there might be some meals not eaten, but they'll get used to it...they have to eat eventually!
  • This is me, the day I gave birth, at 36 weeks pregnant with twins. My stretch marks are very noticeable....how do you not get stretch marks when you're that big??? I wish I could be a celebrity and have someone whip me into shape or magically make my body wonderful again.
  • I put on 40lbs during my pregnancy with my twins. I delivered at 36 weeks and was so puffy and swollen and massive, measuring at 50+ weeks in size . I lost 20lbs just by giving birth. Like babies came out, they're 1 day old, and I was 20lbs lighter. Within the first month of their life the 40lbs disappeared. Now they're 19…
  • I'm 26 years old and a mom to 19 month old boy/girl twins....and I'm EXHAUSTED! You can have my kids!
  • Log it and then go work out. I try to exercise every day. If I've gone over, I try to go workout again after dinner.
  • If you want to just start introducing different vegetables I'd buy some of the Green Giant or Bird's Eye frozen vegetable mixes. Some of them come lightly sauced with like garlic or cheese, or you can get them plain. They're easy to make, just steam right in the bag in your microwave for maybe 5 or 6 minutes. I just ate…
  • I've been a vegetarian since I was 7 years old. I do cook meat for my husband and kids, but most of our meals are veg. I occasionally cook with substitutes by quorn...also do a lot of tofu, beans, and veggies. Adding you!
  • I know Weight Watchers doesn't normally count most fruits and vegetables towards your daily Points, but I've always logged everything that goes into my mouth.
  • I did t 30 Day Shred last winter and really enjoyed, but slowly lost my motivation. I couldn't do the jumping jacks...even with two sports bras on I felt a lot of breast pain, so I just jogged in place during those parts. I'm curious how others log it. I'm thinking it would fall under calisthenics - vigorous effort?
  • Nice to see some other moms of twins on here! My two (Colton and Daphne) are definitely a challenge :P I'm loving myfitnesspal already!
  • Absolutely! I don't log my morning coffee or my diet soda....but juice, milk, hot chocolate, alcohol, anything not part of my norm gets added beverage wise.
  • I had twins 18 months ago and they too destroyed my stomach. I was measuring more then 50weeks in size when I delivered at 8 months. Right now I'm doing a pilates abs workout every evening to try to flatten and tone my stomach. It's 10 minutes long and I definitely feel the burn and see definition afterwards.
