Have you tried Quinoa? much better nutritionally. Although brown rice is low GI than white

I have to limit myself to one drinking day per week. One bottle of wine saved for Friday nights and have to work out that day too.

thanks for the suggestions. I just put an order in for the Quest protein as the reviews seem quite good. Was also looking at the bare blends but seemed a little exy.

Not bad this weekend. Limited myself to drinking only on saturday night instead of all weekend. Went to an all you can eat buffet but managed to stick to steak and salads and only a tiny bit of dessert with lots of walking. How did everyone else go?

It's not a miracle method but can help with cravings etc. At the end of the day it's all about calories in calories out.

Weekly check in after the weekend. Once again I had many wines over the weekend, food choices were good to counter act the calories but not game to weigh myself. Having a super good Monday/Tuesday and hopefully will balance out. How did everyone else go?

nuts, high fat low carb! I have a container of almonds, brazil and cashews on my desk and use for snacks sometime breakfast.

I think the biggest problem is that I don't want to stop drinking wine as I really enjoy it and will feel deprived, lifes too short that whole mentality. But I guess at the end of the day it is just a habit and habits can be broken with willpower. Will try again this weekend.

I had zoodles last night with my bolognese and the rest of the family had regular pasta. Sometimes I do a carrot/zuchinni combo and just lighting saute with coco oil and cracked pepper and lemon juice.

Well this weekend was another write off. Thought if I only buy one bottle then that would be ok calorie wise, but no as when I ran out I started on beer. Time to go cold turkey for a bit just to get out of the habit.
