For me, eating clean is the only way to go. If it came from a plant, eat it, if it didnt, dont. I love high protein low carb the best. Lots of lean fresh meats and TONS of veggies. Yes, it will help you lose weight. I would just make sure you eat lots of veggies to help move all of the protein.

I only run outside and if I had to go back to running on the tm I might give it up. I find it harder to run on the tm and boring as hell. It sounds to me like someone is trying to scare you. If you are running that much on the tm, you are going to be just fine on race day. Once you run outside, WARNING, you may be hooked…

In my opinion rest is key. I alternate days, I run one day (im training for a race), the next day i lift weights in the gym, I mix in a little cardio to get my heart rate up. So, I alternate days and do yoga 5 nights a week for 30 min, then rest on sundays...Its good to switch it up and rest.

I usually have low sugar instant oatmeal, dry toast, and coffee, and sometimes a granola bar.. My husband makes old fashion oats and sprinkles a ton of cinnamon and a pinch of sugar on his. We both have a protein shake as well.

Have you tried a protein powder/shake?According to the one I use, one serving is 3 scoops and its just under 300 calories. I usually have one to two shakes a day, its great for recovery and might help you get up to what your calorie intake should be.

Fiber, Fiber, Fiber, Protein and yes, tons of water! Have you ever tried a protein shake?
