Need help with low sugar/high energy snacks

Options
I am doing my best to keep my sugar within my daily limits and am finding it hard. It adds up so fast. Can anyone suggest low sugar but high energy snacks?
Im not really concerned with the calorie content as much as keeping the sugar in check.

    Med Whole Wheat tortilla, 4 oz chicken breast (cooked), 1 leaf romaine, couple slices tomatoe and 1 tbs ranch....

    Its a chicken wrap. Tastes super good and its a nice snack.
