1. cold! 2. ya I don't feel I look that small, not 129 pounds but I've dropped over 100 pounds.... 3. people that were jealous, I'm not saying that as fiction, some of my close friends/family told me that they were jealous...crazy... 4. believing that I fit the jeans hanging in my closet... funny but when I hold them up…

I've been maintaining for about 10 months now. What I did is give myself a 5 pound spread, so I can be up or down 5 pounds from my goal, then the trick is to weigh everyday. My weight has never gotten away from me because if its up I'm more careful and if its down I keep doing what I'm doing. As I've said this has worked…

This is me: https://www.fitbit.com/user/24TBLX Just figured it out!!! If you are interested in doing challenges (I think I'd really like the challenges) and having someone that walks/runs around to motivate you, I'm your woman. I'm a grammie of 3 who recently lost a lot of weight, I maintain the loss by walking and…

I am also a Grammie and on MFP. I do half marathons and have recently lost a lot of weight which I maintain by running and walking. I'd love to add you but not sure how? I went to both of our sites and it says add by email or facebook. I'll add you on here and we'll start there.

According to the Dr's/Health Nurses, my kids were always underweight. They had good appetites but were very active. I wouldn't worry to much, both of mine are now adults and perfectly healthy.
-
This absolutely, I'm 50 and very active! and it's harder to lose weight now than in my 20's and 30's. But that isn't an excuse, you just have to work harder and shake things up once in a while. I'm trying boot camp and it's helped, but it's hard!!!
-
I don't know the answer but what I do know is that I love Zumba and running, I also do bootcamp, which I'm learning to love. I like to do different things to keep me going. I down hill ski in the winter and have 2 large dogs that I walk all year...anything that keeps you moving will get you to your goal as long as you keep…

I agree!!! I've had mine for....not sure but have had to change the battery 3 times!!! I'm sure it's over a year. I wear it everyday and it does motivate me, when I see how close to my goal I am, I just get up and walk somewhere to hit it! Best thing I ever bought!

When I started I preferred doing sports, or things I enjoyed like Latin dancing (beginner). So I starting going to Zumba, I love the music and after 4 years of going it still doesn't feel like exercise. Find something you like/love to do and do it!

I know, I recently lost 100 pounds and I am freezing now! There aren't enough sweaters in my closet to keep me warm! My living room is full of blankets and a heater!!! Still, I'm not complaining, I'll take the cold over the extra weight!

Why is it your business to tell her what to say. I had the same surgery and I tell people now, but I didn't in the beginning because it wasn't anyone's business but my own. No one has walked in my shoes or knows what I've done to lose weight only to see it fail. This is her story and its private, my best advise is to mind…

Totally this!!! You are making two different meals, he's not making you! So stop, if he doesn't eat what's in front of him, he'll have to get his own meal.

WTG!!!! I can relate! I was more excited to hit "overweight" than to get under 200!!! Congrats!!!

You can defend him all you want, but please see the BIG RED FLAG and move on! Three years is enough time to waste!

I started out weighing 260 for my first 5km! I'm now in onederland and doing half marathons!!! As the saying goes, "just do it" You will be amazed at how easy it gets!!!
-
I've done 5kms, 10kms and as of right now 6 half's ( I'm doing 2 this September) and I've yet to run all of any of them!!! But I did them!!! Don't judge yourself on how much you run of each race, judge yourself on the fact that you can run some of the race and that you got off your butt and DID THE RACE!!!!

She gave birth to you but she hasn't been your mother. Give her the same respect she gives you. Stop the visits, they do nothing for your self esteem. You can't control her, you can only control yourself. I'm not saying cut her out, just stay away, life is hard enough without having your mother add to the difficulty. You…

If she owns a mirror don't mention it. She knows. Ask her for a walk, if she says no, tell her you need to talk and you are more comfortable walking and talking. Then tell her something about your life, a small problem. Then do the same the next day, go for short walks until she gets some endurance, then slowly walk…
