Feel free to add me in! I'm currently at 132 and I'd like to be 120 for summer and hopefully 125 for my Slayer concert, lol. That winter weight always gets me. I've kept 45 lbs off for about 15 years now and I log every day and work out a few times every week.

I started with 15 minutes on the elliptical, about 3 days a week. Over time (I'm talking like, over a year), I increased it to 5x a week, and to 45-60 minutes. I just got on the elliptical, cranked up motivational music, and went to town. Now that I don't really have a whole hour to do cardio, I still try and do 45 minutes…

There's a book called Kettlebells for Women by Lorna Kleidman. It's excellent. It's has pictures and instructions for all the moves and in the back there is a 6 week exercise program at 3 different levels I follow. I bought it used on Amazon. It's amazing and I love it. I've done it 5 weeks and I can already tell a…

I haven't done caffeine for years, but if you're looking for a supplement you can try Ginsana. It's a ginseng supplement you can find at Walmart. I don't know that it gives me a bunch of energy, but it does seem to make me feel a little better.

I love herbs! They're so pricey to buy, but when you grow them you got some to snip off and eat all season long. I recently grew lemongrass, Thai basil, and serrano peppers and made homemade Thai food and it was just awesome. I love eating fresh parsley in stuff in the summer too. I had real good luck with tomatoes…

I like them shredded up and put into salads. They really are good raw. I also like them in juices.

I used up all my non-vegan food as I moved into a vegan diet. I also cooked a lot more once I went vegan. There are a LOT of great vegan blogs and forums like the Post Punk Kitchen that have good recipes and hints. I went raw vegan for awhile, but was hospitalized for Salmonella so now I'm adverse to that idea for the most…

Feel free to add me, anyone. I eat 1400-1700 a day and I try to eat pretty healthy, although I probably eat a little too much sugar.
-
My diary is open as well, anyone can feel free to add me if they too have an open diary.

Oh, and I too am a science nerd.

I would just go back through the recipe and make sure that it added all the right ingredients in all the right amounts. For instance, I put in jambalaya and it randomly selected a chicken sausage brand that had 40 more calories per sausage than the one I had. I had to go back in and manually put in the right stuff. I hate…

Greek yogurt and decaf tea. Every day.

I have really bad anxiety so I went on Lexapro and I immediately gained weight. I went from 122 (maintained for three years) to 135 in seven months (unfortunately, I gained about half that right before my wedding too). I still counted my calories every day, but my cravings for sugar and carbs were unbelievable and I was…

I do cooked meals (stored in glass in the fridge) for max 5 days. The only exception is grains which I store for about 3 days max. With most the stuff I make though, it only lasts about 3 days (keeps me from getting too bored with my meals too).

I'm at 1003. It glitched on me back in 2012 and started me back at zero, otherwise I'd be at like, 1500, lol.

When I was at my smallest, my sugar (from fruit and coconut water) was at its highest, lol.

Low-Cal Vegan Comfort Food and Appetite For Reduction both give calories counts.

Ricotta and roasted tomatoes with a little bit of chives.

I do, and my diary is open. Feel free to add me!

Brewer's yeast can actually be used for brewing and isn't something I would eat. Nutritional yeast is a flat, yellow powder that tastes kind of cheesy. It's fortified with B-vitamins and stuff and it's actually meant to be eaten straight. It's also lovingly called "nooch". As a vegan, I ate it a lot. I would stir-fry tofu…

I have chronic chemical imbalance type of anxiety. I can't do low-carb, or caffeine for that matter, or I become a wreck.

I have PCOS, and sometimes when I workout I get intense cramps in my ovaries. It sounds crazy, but I it does happen (even when I'm not currently on my period). I've talked to other women with PCOS and they've mentioned they get cramps there too.

Mine is between 30 and 34 minutes. I'm not a fast runner, at all, but I do 5Ks just for the sheer fun of it. I love them!

Oh, and I push myself. I'm always sweating my butt off and I don't take any pauses or breaks.

I do it with 8 lb. weights, every other day (since I follow the shred with 30 minutes on the treadmill and alternate the shred days with either the elliptical or treadmill). I just finished the first week (4 workouts done), so we'll see. After four weeks I should see a change, and after eight weeks, changes should be…

Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred (one 20 minute section) followed by at least 30 minutes on the treadmill, then a 10 minute yoga cooldown. I love the JM DVD cause it's 20 minutes. I tell myself that if I can't fit in at least 20 minutes of exercise, I'm not serious about my goals. This is the one DVD that I've seriously…

I think this week I'm going to make a Chef's salad with homemade Herbed Buttermilk Ranch (from Cooking Light) with a hard-boiled egg, a little smoked gouda, a little chicken, cherry tomatoes, chickpeas, cucumbers, thin sliced red onions, and either homemade croutons or a baguette on the side. All this on a butter lettuce /…

That sounds really good!

I did the one in Kansas City with my family and co-workers. I didn't like it because I don't really like to get dirty and I don't like huge crowds of people. It was crowded but after the first km I was able to run. It was a good experience though.

Mine's open. I find it provides a sense of accountability. Also, I like to cook a lot so I love it when people ask me about what I'm making. :)
