I battle with this and notice flare ups after going overboard on sugar or caffeine. After about a week on suppliments and cutting as much sugar and caffeine as possible I can tell a huge difference. I was just reading that Lemon water and Apple Cider Vinegar help with the PH balance to fight the candida. What's sad is last…

Whole flax seed does nothing for you, use a coffee grinder and grind it fresh. Make sure you freeze it if you grind more than you need to use... once it's ground it starts losing it's nutrition. Just FYI. :flowerforyou:

What about coconut oil? I use that in replacement of most of my butter/oils. Healthier than butter.

I have a friend who does mushrooms in replacement of meat for fajitas. She made them for me one time and it was delicious! I put them in bean soup and spaghetti, anything i can. ;)

IF you have a chance to get a medabolic test done I would recomend that. I got mine done at the nutritionist office and it turns out that I have a high metabolism.. If I were to eat even 1600 claories I would be starving myself. So if you ahve even a normal metaboism but on the higher end of normal you are not eating…

Ok so I did the medabolic test again. I have been off of the essential oils and my metabolism dropped to 1819 from 1962 in a month. The nutritionist said this is prob closer to my normal RMR. so I'll be setting my calorie goal to 1940 and see where it goes in a month. Thank you all for your responses and I'll repost in…

I hope this clears it up for most.... I have been eating over the 2100 b/c I was trying to eat at mantanance to see if it worked, maybe give my body some extra fuel or something just for a week or so. My goal is to aim at 2100. I have been focusing mostly on getting between 2400-2500 just for a week then cutting back. I…

I do make my own.. but it's with canned beans and diced tomatoes and such... I need to brave it up and do dried beans instead.

I only log what I go out and do for workout, not normal daily stuff. I don't count going to the park or walks or light workouts. just the ones my hr gets up for 20 min or longer.

Your BMR is close to 2000 calories. That's not even factoring in a activity level. Just for the sake of comparison mine is around 2100 and I am 5'11' 200+ pounds. Anyway, I would get that rechecked you're either an anomaly, have a very active "sedentary" lifestyle or your calculations are wrong. [/quote] ^^^ ..and you are…

You all have been very helpful!!! I will. 1. try a month at 2100 net calories. 2. lower my sodium. 3. drink more water. :flowerforyou:

I didn't realize ACV helps with the bloat. THank you!

I'm doing ripped in 30 right now and as soon as I finish this I'm going to do the Chalean extreme. I did this last year and loved it. I'm just waiting for a friend to get back from vacation to do it with. Thus the reason I'm doing ripped in 30 right now. Jan I did 30 day shred and Feb was another 30 day challenge with a…

Muslce? I don't know.. lol.. I have done the 12 week program for the Chalean Extreme which I could tell a huge diff in muscle after. All I know is that is what my test was.. Maybe I'll go have it redone to see if there is a diff???

I use coconut oil in replacement of olive oil or butter. I've also done the ACV in V8 juice but not very often.

I am not taking any of this as being mean or anything. You are absolutly right and I did ask for help. I have been at such a plateau for so long that I think I change things up and want to see results right away. I give it a week or so and change it again. Last year I lost 30 lbs pretty easy and I want to see that again!…

Some workouts I have to tweek to meet the calorie burn. I use a hr monitor.

My goal was set at eating maintanance so instead of changing the numbers I just watched the net to keep it between 2400-2500, My maintanance is 2550. I do drink water, I jsut get bored calculting it. lol. I drink a good 2 liters a day. I know my sodium is high, I've been trying to work on that but some days it's rough just…

My BMR is 1962 so in a coma I need over 2000 to live.
-
I was at each cal level for a good 3-4 weeks each time. Mpf has me low, I had a medabolic test done and my body in a come needs 1962 calories a day. I don't count normal activity, I use a hr monitor and only count that exercise. I have been measuring and no change. My diary is open.

It says for today about 1 1/2 hour workout and 1 hour house cleaning I should eat close to 3700 calories! IT seems insane to me! Is this why I haven't been losing? I've been netting at 2400-2500 for maintanance.

Oh I did it for 10 days, My motives were wrong and I was trying to lose weight. I did but gained it back. I did like the lemon drink so I still do that in the summer. I 1/2 the maple syrup and use fresh lemons and I enjoy it. It's tasty and refreshing.

My in-laws do it twice a year for 10 days... The min you should do it is 10 days. They are the healthiest people I know! If you are doing it to lose weight though, dont! You have a high chance of gaining most of it back. IF you are doing it to cleanse from junk food and nasties in your body then I think it's a good…

My husband said 'running gets you there faster' lol.. We are training for 1/2 marathon right now.
-
we did push it longer by a 1 1/2 miles but did a lot of walking. Our pace was a good min slower on the average... He is going to pay attention to how he is running next time and try diff shoes if it hurts again. Thanks for all your advice!
