How much flaxseed oil to take a day? I currently take 1 tablespoon, my recommended caloric intake on MFP is 1650.
if it helps, I am a male 30 years old, 5'11, 250 lbs.

Why flaxseed oil? If it's for omega 3's it's pretty much useless. You'd be better off with flax seed for the other benefits of flax that are not in the oil.0

my container says 1-3 tbsp a day.0

Whole flax seed does nothing for you, use a coffee grinder and grind it fresh. Make sure you freeze it if you grind more than you need to use... once it's ground it starts losing it's nutrition.
Just FYI. :flowerforyou:0 -
very few established benefits of flax seed - I'd go with other omega-3 in the diet or EPA/DHA in capsules0

Perhaps cod liver oil, or or even better chia seeds which contain less omega 6 (and inflammatory) and packed with amino acids.0
